What up Human Sally?
While it might be a downer its the absolute truth. You can't assume you have x amount of time left. You just have to take the "hope for the best, expect the worst" approach.

You only get one life and once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
I've been dead twice and they brought me back.

Downer Alert!
He's absolutely right.
But it's not about "living life to the fullest", it's about being grateful for the opportunity to live each day.
Thich Naht Than taught this philosophy extremely well. "We are not guaranteed tomorrow, so let's enjoy each day we get to spend on this earth with the gratitude it deserves." (Paraphrased)
Each day is a gift, and we should treat it as such. It is a gift to be able to walk outside, feeling the wind on our skin, smelling the plants and flowers, hearing the wildlife and water flowing, gazing at the clouds and stars. If we recognize the gift and treat it as such, then we will not fear the time when we depart this existence, because we know that we are not departing the world, but joining it and becoming a part of the gift for others, including our loved ones, to enjoy as well.
Death is not the end of our existence, it's just the next phase of our existence.

Be grateful to God for every blessing you have.

I was alive, then I was alive.
They told me I was dead in between.

The more people that check out young, the more pie for you.

It really hits home after losing a close family member. You look back and wish you had more time to spend with them, but you can’t buy back time.

You can sleep easy knowing that at least if it’s not your fault there are plenty of personal injury lawyers willing to take a cut of your family’s claim to go after whomever they can blame for it, or who has insurance, or, if they have good lawyers, both.

How do you deal with the fact that any day could be your last day on Earth?
I've almost died, which by itself makes a huge impression.
However, when that happened, I also had a near death experience, something that I'll never be able to fully understand or describe. I'll just say that I had a brief glimpse of what's next, and it is wonderful.
So whenever my time comes, I'm ready.

Death is the end of life, but it’s not the end. Enjoy the ride while it lasts.

How do you deal with the fact that any day could be your last day on Earth? I know we have to live for today, and make the most of our time with loved ones, it just feels like that time is so short, and life is so fleeting
"Show Up" for the events that are important to others in your life and "Seize the Opportunity" when the event presents itself.
Say "I love you" often.

I gave my life to Christ and know that through him I will have eternal life. This world is a broken fallen world full of sin and death and evil. Once you recognize that and understand that the only path to happiness is to reject the world and accept Christ the rest of life falls into place.

Monty Python - The Galaxy Song
Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at 900 miles an hour.
It's orbiting at 19 miles a second, so it's reckoned,
The sun that is the source of all our power.
Now the sun, and you and me, and all the stars that we can see,
Are moving at a million miles a day,
In the outer spiral arm, at 40, 000 miles an hour,
Of a galaxy we call the Milky Way.
Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars;
It's a hundred thousand light-years side to side;
It bulges in the middle sixteen thousand light-years thick,
But out by us it's just three thousand light-years wide.
We're thirty thousand light-years from Galactic Central Point,
We go 'round every two hundred million years;
And our galaxy itself is one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe.
Our universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding,
In all of the directions it can whiz;
As fast as it can go, at the speed of light, you know,
Twelve million miles a minute and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth;
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth!
