We did this in the early 90's and I always assumed they were cell phone calls in the early days of cell phone technology.

We couldn't even afford those. A good set of encyclopedia was like $800,000.

I actually went all day yesterday without mine. Headed to my parents to watch football and forgot it at the house. Sat with my pops and watched football all day. I think I am going to make that a sunday tradition from now on, it was nice.

A good thing about life back then was that you could go out and run errands or do something, and you were literally free from everyone until you got back home. There were times when you were truly unavailable and didn't have to lie that you left your phone in the other room and didn't see the call until 4 hours later.

I think that's what I had, although I'm betting it existed in prior/subsequent models

Oh, I knew that shampoo bottle by heart.
It has both Sodium Laurel Sulfate and Sodium LAURETH Sulfate.

I was the last of three children, and ours were so old I would have to do science reports from encyclopedia's that were before we landed on the moon.

Were there phones in the dorm rooms or did you have to use a pay-phone?
