My daughter was struggling on an attraction so I asked the life guard on duty to assist her in getting down. Life gaurd caught an attitude and said she’s not ready to get down. At this point my daughter is holding on to the ropes for dear life and afraid to let go because she does t want to fall in the water. Life gated remains seated. So I jumped in to help my daughter.

most parents would instinctively help their struggling child. Even quadrupeds exhibit this basic behavior. But this lady? NO. She gone tell dat lifegar to hep her chiren get down!!

That arc of a story says so much about the patrons of this tax funded water park.

About a 1/4 started back today(including ours). Another few start tomorrow (Cherokee and a few others) which is just retarded.

Maybe they could build a small airport. Take the tennis courts and make those the hangars.

My God. Those comments are like reading the thoughts of the average Nissan Altima driver.

not too far from the truth - I had an acquaintance get an intestinal parasite, and there’s no way to prove it but the only thing she did differently that week was go to Liberty lagoon

It can’t fail.

It’s taxpayer funded.

Let me guess they don't take ebt cards. Take your kids to eat before or after visiting the park.

The staff was rude and making up rules as they go threw the day. The food was cold and they only give a tiny amount . The nachos barely had cheese on them . I was really disappointed that the staff was cold towards the kids and did not comfort them threw the rain . They won't give us updated on getting back in the water or nothing .

Jesus frick the syntax.

I saw a news story about Clarke County, GA.
The keids went back to school on July 22.
Why, you ask, because the kids go to school 4 days per week for the entire year. Schoodays are Tues-Fri. They are off on every Monday. Parents commiting suicide.

I am pretty sure that life guards are not allowed to take their eyes off the water. They arent allowed to do anything, but make sure nobody drowns. They dont control the pool from the weather either.

The manager opens and closes the water according to weather/storms in the area. Thunder and lightning primarily.

the guard

More appropriate term than “life guard” given the clientele.
