I like the idea of this weapon. It serves a purpose. My question is, if it doesn't go boom, is it easier for an enemy to recover and reverse engineer critical guidance components, etc? That's what I would be concerned about.

We like to mix up our options for knocking out the enemy. It generates a lot of fear in those people to know a rotating sword from above may zing down through the top of their car and take them out. Many of them stick close to schools, hospitals,, businesses, etc, thinking we will not attack for fear of collateral damage if we use a bomb. This thing shows them they are unsafe anywhere.

Years back, they indicated we had the capability to launch guided tungsten warheads from satellites that would impact buildings or whatever at hyper speed (dropping down from orbit) with the power of a small nuclear explosion when they impacted, but no radiation (not a nuclear explosion). They called them "The finger of God". Getting touched by the finger of God - I thought that was cool.

Can't wait for us to develop invisible (visually cloaked) assassins to travel (by plane, train, bus or whatever) to the enemy and take them out all close and personal.

Newsflash...
Shaped charges are not unpredictable in any way

We need to take out everybody associated with them, I mean EVERYBODY.

So you support killing women and children that have no say in the activities of their father/husband?

Can you imagine riding in that car and all of a sudden the person next to you just explodes into a bloody soup. Talk about ptsd...

So....I'm assuming that missle locked onto the targets cell phone? Seems like it hit pretty exact.

This is what I don't understand. Someone in that vehicle could have survived. I understand not wanting to blow a crater in the road, but it seems like there's an option between huge explosion and a missile with knives that would be more effective.

Wasn't this never made a reality due to the expenses of putting rods of tungston into orbit?

I agree 100%, but this system seems to be a waste. What is the purpose of this style warhead?

Other than mind fricking the goat frickers?

Kid you not.

They are not afraid of bullets or bombs. They grow up figuring those are just a quick way to go.

But they are afraid of and respect the steel. They don't wanna be all hacked up and cut up.

This thing seems like the ninja mixer for the ages when it comes to the bad moose lambs. This thing will give them nightmares imho.

Hey dipshit you don’t seem to know shite about anything. And based on your posts, you sure don’t sound like a weapons expert. So, again, let the military, CIA, or whoever, do what they do with the tools they choose.

You go do whatever it is you do.

Hey dipshit, wrong again.
My questions were in regards to this particular style of warhead.
It seems overengineered for it's intended purpose.
