Hadji had a bad day in Syria
I've read a few articles on this beast and Dayum. One hit a car earlier this year killing the target in the passenger seat, but didn't harm anybody else.
Murica!

Supposedly, three people were killed in the vehicle when the bladed weapon smashed through the roof of the vehicle. The post-strike video below is very gruesome. You have been warned:

AGM-119R9X, which has no area blast effects at all, it has hit all three targets we have evidence of perfectly in the exact same spot and angle.

But considering the missile, which is roughly three and a half feet wide when its blades are extended, has perfectly nailed its target every time we know of and in the same exact spot, some sort of extremely accurate guidance is definitely being used.

So it's kind of like an electric, computer guided Edward Scissorhands asking if it can trim that neck a little?

I’d love to know what those guys were saying while they were doing their post flight inspection of the vehicle.

I built a many of those SOB's back in the 80s for Rockwell International.
We called them the Tube of Turbulence.

How big is the blade?
Is it fixed or retractable?

So...that's officially the most bad arse weapon on the planet. Sweet.

I agree 100%, but this system seems to be a waste. What is the purpose of this style warhead?

Is it not to minimize death and injury to the non-target(s)??

To minimize, or outright eliminate, unnecessary collateral damage.
This is a good thing. Collateral damage to innocents or property of innocents is a big reason people over there hate us and a huge talking point for Anti-American/West groups.

Meh. A hellfire has a small warhead to begin with.
Why not just mount a smaller one on there if we are worried about collateral damage.
Seems over engineered.

Why would we choose to let anybody riding in the same car as our target survive the strike? Are they not associates?

So a Predator drone that you can't see, literally several thousand feet up with 4 Hellfire-variants, and external fuel tanks and 2 data link pods.
This setup is plainly a long range, long on-station time surveillance hitman...Freaking Sweet.
You can literally wait out a terrorist, to an extent. And as soon as he pops out, some one from Langley probably steers one of these Super Broadheads straight through your roof.

STFU and let them do their job.
Some toothless inbred Arky fan sitting in the security of his double wide doesn’t get the right to question the people or entities that bring us these beautiful weapons.

It's the helicopter fired missile version of this.
ETA: I think the Hellfire might be on the Predators as well, as someone up there ^^^ mentioned.

Hey dipshit, I am all about killing the enemy in the most surefire and cost effective way possible. Explosives seem more reliable and cheaper than overengineered warheads with knifeblades.

You're kinda dumb. The military is finally doing something substantial to minimize civilian casualties and you don't understand a damn thing about it.
Explosives are HIGHLY unpredictable and these pieces of shite are often surrounded by and traveling with innocent children and wives who are essentially slaves.
