Exactly. I might check the app once all night just to verify he made it where he was going or to see where he is if he’s running a few minutes late.
You could just call him like a normal person.

Driving 98 isn't really that big of a deal imo.
Hopefully your kids don't have this passive of a mindset and blow my wife and children off the road cause driving 110 on a two lane road isn't that big of a deal to their daddy.

My parents and I also grew up in a country with a considerably lower crime rate and significantly fewer illegals roaming the streets.

dude thats scary as frick. I'm shocked he didn't run from the police when being pulled over. I'm sure that was a terrifying 1/2 hr for you.
Ya it was. He had actually been about 30 or 40 minutes with the guy telling him where to drive what turns to make etc., yelling at him and threatening him that he had a gun in his bag before he forced our son to the back seat and started driving. At that point as when my son started the text to us

When was that? You must have grown up in 50s or 60s.

I feel bad for people like you who can’t imagine being in a relationship where the other person respects you.
I don’t have Life360 but I share my location with my wife anytime I go on a run in case I drop dead or get hit by a car. The truth of the matter is neither of us care if we know each others location because neither of us think twice about it.
I’m not doing anything nefarious and my wife is never going to question me on where I’ve been. Vice versa as well. And it’s really quite sad that you’ve either been hurt or hurt someone to the point that you’re likely just going to call me naive.

Not at all what I was saying.
I’m saying that you can’t seem to grasp that most spouses respect each other enough to not worry about their locations being known.

Thats backwards. It would be better if spouses respected and trusted each other enough to not want to track each other's location.

You’re not getting it.
My wife doesn’t ask for my location. I send it to her when I think there’s a possibility that I might get harmed. Either by getting hit by a car or doing a physical activity or going to a friends where we might head somewhere else.
She doesn’t ask me for my location ever. I want her to know where I am in case something horrible happens.
Likewise, I never ask for her location but she gives it to me when she feels it’s appropriate.
Neither of us would flinch at Life360 because honestly that’s just an easier way to cut out the act of determining when it’s necessary to share our locations.
Neither of us have anything to hide because we are in a loving respecting relationship.

This is a fully cyclical argument that can't be won either way.
My spouse doesn't trust me so they are tracking me vs I have nothing to hide so my spouse is free to track me.

So like everyday?
You're WAY more likely to get into a serious car wreck on the way to work than be struck by a vehicle on your jog.

I work from home.
When I go somewhere other than the store, yeah I hit the share location. It takes 5 seconds.
