Mine will be easy. My entire family, except for me, will be out of town for a scheduled extracurricular activity.

My mental note is ... this type of event would never be scheduled on Mother's Day weekend.

My mental note would be this is going to be the greatest Father’s Day ever.

I will not let the Father's Day racket cause my kids to give ME a day. They are young and busy - lettum go enjoy any day they can. We eat together and visit every chance we get and don't need a designated calendar day to put undue obligations on us.

You are so deep and counter culture baw. You should get a trophy or something. Maybe consider writing some poetry.

Who am I kidding? You're right. Disregard my previous reply to Martini.

If I don’t have to clean up after other people on father’s day, I’ll chalk it up as a W.

all the stuff you had to do for mother’s day

Had to do? HA! I consider it things I got to do for her today. If we are on a quid pro quo then I am going to be in bad shape. If my ole lady and I traded chores every other week I’d give up after week two. And, I actually do a lot of chores around the house (dishes, towels, sheets, vacuum, grass, cook on weekends), but nothing compared to what she does.

I respect and appreciate my wife. Glad I'm not getting marital advice from a redneck on here.

Fathers Day

The day where you have to go buy meat and cook outside for everyone while they lounge around. They'll tell you happy father's day, though.

I don't have kids, nor am I married, but from my experience this is 100% accurate.

shite, after this weekend with me watching 2 of our 3 kids alone, I'd be fine making Father's Day Mother's Day v2 for all the shite she puts up with. And my kids are actually fairly well behaved.
