I had a crush on my first cousin when I was 5.

I also grew up in a poor part of southern Ohio.

So wanting to hump your 7 year old cousin was not uncommon.

Like I didn't have the crush anymore. It had been a few years and just didn't think about her regularly.

Why would it sting if you were only ever in the friend zone

In school, we had both admitted after the fact that we had liked each other at points in time. So, although I knew it wouldn't actually happen, there was this thing in the back of your mind. Was just a little shocking in that I had never even known her to date. She most certainly married her first boyfriend. And that was the first person my age that I knew to get married. It was all a little strange.

I kinda have a child-like crush on my wife.
She’s 48 and I’m 52.

First crush was a middle school frievds older sister. She was a check out girl at a local supermarket. Dark complexion, long dark hair, petite with a rocking body. Think I was 11 or 12 and she was the first girl I starting ‘ noticing’ when you get that age. She must’ve been 5-6 years older than me.

Strangely enough ran into her at a conference 15 years ago and got that booty. 12 year old me would be proud.

Also side note on crushes.

When you are in your 20’s and thirsty, and then you find out years later a cute chick had a crush on you.

Why not tell me then???!!???
I was single and starving

We could’ve been f**king day one

Blond haired girl in 2nd grade, didn't see her again for another 12 years. We started dating then and long story short we've been married 31 years now.

Went to a private elementary school in the 80's, and "Betty" was funny, cute, and feisty. We ended up at different middle schools and lost contact.

Fast forward to high school, and I'm over at my girlfriend's house, and Betty comes walking in! Turns out she lived across the street, and they were friends. Over the next few months, my gf would occasionally tell me stories about what a freak Betty was, and things she did with her boyfriend.

Fast forward again 30 years. Betty and I started communicating on social media, and eventually had a FUN few months - turns out my ex wasn't lying about how freaky and insatiable she is!

Epilogue: Betty confessed that her and my ex would sometimes hook up in middle and high school.

Your Mom.

But, it was innocent and we just talked, so, don't get riled up about it.

I believe this. Im very emotionless these days compared to my younger years. I just don’t get all worked up over a woman like I used to.

Can’t really remember all my young first crushes. None of them were like my first real crush in 8th Grade. He moved and broke my heart forever. We are still friends to this day. I think
