I can't see the tornado on the jackson radar. What am I missing that they're seeing?

If it were a cell they would. I don't know if I have ever seen a TE with a QLCS tornado. At least not with ones like today.

I grew up on Sand Mountain in NE AL and always heard that when I was younger but several close calls with 2 near misses on 4/27/11 with one killing my neighbor I stopped believing it. Something about when the storms get to Sand Mountain makes them ramp up. Moved about 10 years ago and had a direct hit right where I moved to right after I moved.

Been dozens of tornado warnings so far.
I expect Alabama to continue this layer on this evening. The NWS has slowed the arrival times down a bit. By about an hour.

It just got dramatically darker in BR so I took that as my cue to head inside
