Lets compare the 'racists' Dr. Seuss sketches vs. real life

I grew up around Dr. Seuss books. I still have them all to this day. Today I did an investigation into the images that media is in an uproar about. Here are the images and below each is an image I found that already exists(/ed) in our world. Below are the results, and to me it looks like Seuss actually did a good job of cultural representation.

Yeeeeeeaaaaahhhh, but really.... the Africans, yeah that’s kind of bad. I forgot about that picture.
I remember my grandma had one of those wooden watermelons with a little black girl with pigtails eating it hanging in the wall in her kitchen. I didn’t think anything of it as a kid, but now I look back, and I get the same feeling that picture is giving me.
The rest, I see zero problem with.

i don't know why we keep acknowledging them. like "aight YOU think this book is racist. cool" then we continue our day.
they see how much it gaslights people and it drives them to continue cuz they feel like they are winning

They were given a platform. Social media is a cancer to our society.

You baws are over thinking this.. All it took was "Hop on Pop" to trigger these people. Traditional 2 cis parent households are raciss.

Each culture is different and in order to convey that via 1 page of drawing, you have to amplify the uniqueness of the culture. I’m Asian, and I’m not offended with the Asian one.

Have you ever seen African tribal people? It’s not that far off. The description even says they are in Africa. The whole book is caricatures.
I could understand if the description said the were from the southern states. But I really don’t think Seuss was being racist. He was just drawing all of the different unusual ways that humans can look.
If you disagree I challenge you to draw a less racist picture of an African tribal person and show us.
First picture on google from CNN. Let’s see you draw it

I haven’t really followed this story because I don’t give a shite but isn’t it the company who is publishing the books making these decisions?
Posted on 3/3/21 at 6:07 pm to ArmydawgMD
It’s abject hypocrisy and selective outrage, as always.

The people that are complaining about this are the racist ones. They hate these different types of people and want everyone to look like their modern image of an acceptable person.

There was a study done and a “group” assembled that looked at the books and determined that it contained “racism”
So the company naturally is trying to get out ahead of it. It’s all because of the toxic nature of woke society.

None will admit to the downvote.

Let’s see you draw it
Believe me, I’m in no way saying it should be censored, edited or re-written. I believe in the sanctity or all written word and art. How else will people look back on today’s America and figure out this is what the beginning of the end looked like- how far we came just to be ended by Facebook and Twitter.

I have a copy of the Zoo book. Am I a millionaire now?

Impressive drawing. Seriously.
But why is their skin white? It’s not “blackface” to draw a black person. You are probably equally likely to catch shite from progressives for drawing their skin white.
There is nothing you can do to satisfy them. Their sole purpose in life is to find racism in everything.
