There's far too much corn and soybean in the food supply in my opinion

Apparently not since there's still so many hungry or malnourished people, even right here in the US.

Not for lack of food, malnourished from shitty food. They get plenty of corn products though, that's for damned sure.

Grandfather was a corn farmer. Grew enough soybeans in his day to bury everybody on this board so deep in soy that NOLA would be above sea level. He had more manhood in the tip of his pinky that got shot off by a Jap than any of you losers have mustered in your whole lives

Soy is mostly used in the states to feed the animals I eat daily. I’m all for soy...

Where I am from farmers walk around telling everyone they are poor and this is another bad year of weather. Yet are literally the richest people around. Thanks to welfare.

I am sure your grandfather, who sounds like a good man, is turning over in his grave knowing that one of his seeds mutated and eventually produced you.

If you are starving in the United States then you probably suffer from a mental illness. So many ways to get food here.

It's a bit ironic that his grandpa gave his finger in defense of our great country while OP uses his to weaken it.

Soy consumption tends to increase female hormone levels. Women who are menopausal and prefer not to do hormone replacement can increase estrogen levels with soy.
For some soy causes unpleasant digestive symptoms such as has and abdominal cramps.

The ethanol and biodiesel mandates have screwed the market all up and have caused the industry to bloat and become even more dependent on federal mandates and subsidies unfortunately.

Without soybeans to regulate nitrogen levels in the soil, much of America's farmland would become unable to yield large amounts of other necessary crops such as corn.

Nitrogen based fertilizers are easily and cheaply produced. Thanks to fracking.
