Rice truly perfectly done isnt that easy to make, and takes practice. My mom has rice pots she has used for decades, and my brother has actually called dibs on them. Ha.

I had an ex that thought was this great cook. I asked her to make rice once for dinner, and told her she needed some lessons from my mom. She wasnt happy about that, and I didnt get sex for a few days, but after a few lessons she realized why...and I definitely taught her it's best not to hold out on me...Hello!!

Also...there are people that like burnt rice. Many latin folks do it purposely as a quick snack for their kids. Like purposely get it stuck/crispy to the side of the pot.
