The the story of former Mayor of Nashville Megan Barry who was investigated for the similar shenanigans. Her head of security, Robert Forrest overtime hours doubled when she took office and the questions started about all the trips he went on with her even when it was just those 2….

I believe it's Danielle. I found an obit for Julia. She was his mother. His wife is listed as Danielle. Looks like she is principal at a charter school.
She had to know this was coming out to file so quickly. Hard time for her to have all of this out in public. Can't tell if they have any children.

I think you're correct I saw the same thing....I also ran across an article that Latoya and the wife were together at a ribbon cutting function....so they def knew each other

The city council has already petitioned the judge to assign an outside council to investigate and I would imagine the inspector general is already on the case.....The council doesnt want NOPD tainting this investigation...they want them far far away from this...
However Newell Normand called out Chief Ferguson yesterday on the radio to step up and do something....I imagine all he can do is fire Vappie at this point

She probably knew he was up to something with latoya and had already had the paperwork drawn up. Just waiting for something to come out and then file to solidify her case. Will be hard for Vappie to deny this now that Zuricks report has come out.

This whole thing is amazing to me. Not that they mayor was (allegedly) fricking an employee. I'm sure that happens all the time. But in a city owned apt in front of a city owned camera? It's the zenith of arrogance!

Are we sure the cameras were owned by the city? I read somewhere that they were from a business called French Market Corporation or something similar.

Public entity.
Has a board in place that all serve at the pleasure of the mayor.
Well, all but 3 councilmen.
Sure someone on that board signed off on the cameras being released. Or maybe they were obtained through a public records request.
