I was trying to combine a few of his past issues.
Like bringing a gun to the 1988 RNC convention in the dome, leaving WWL just months after doing a story on Freeport McMoran and magically becoming their PR person right after, and the landfill pay for play.

The sky is the limit with her ego and the idiots in the D party that will find her a position.

Marc Morial got to be president of the Urban League after his tenure, but he's a lot smarter than ole Teedy. Still, she'll get something cushy. All this travel on the city's dime is for her connections and to raise her profile.

So how would you get her out of office?
If our state legislature had any balls, they could impeach and remove her from office with 2/3 vote of the senate on grounds of malfeasance and/or gross misconduct. But it will never happen even though the GOP has a supermajority in the state senate.

This shite is getting dumb.
New Orleans had their chance to get rid of her, they decide they wanted more of her.

The term from 1984 - Ignorance in Bliss comes to mind. She has no clue she has no clue - and it seems to embolden her.

I agree. The La legislation are a bunch of pussies. Both left and right

This is lazy logic, America had their chance to get rid of Biden too and didn’t so does that mean the 75 million who voted against him should just be quiet since we had our chance

I didn't say I have a plan or that "somebody needs to do something"
Just said it amazes me.

Anyone with any sense left New Orleans. It’s a shame what’s happening to it, but it’s a collapsing star at this point.

There are plenty of people that do not live in New Orleans proper that have a vested interest in it fixing itself or at least getting better.

Why should the state step in to save the citizens of NOLA from themselves. They voted for this shitshow, let them live with this shitshow. There are consequences for voting (or not voting) in an election.
