Black folks in nee Orleans are not from Africa. They were born and raised in the United States so that makes them Americans

Explain to me why it's ok for blacks to glorify their Zulu heritage but it's not white Southerners to glorify Confederate veterans, considering both groups engaged in historical atrocities. I know you're a white-guilt, self-loathing cuck who'd wash a minority's foot after being robbed and beaten, but at least try and answer.
Because you touch yourself at night, loser.

Only represents Zulu African bull shite. It's not even the history or culture of this fricking country much less Louisiana
Serious question, how many black Americans even have Zulu ancestry? The Zulu empire was down in present day SA and the majority of black Americans are from present day Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, etc. This makes no sense unless I'm missing something.
Are the Zulu just a symbol for blacks the way maybe Rome or Greece are?

In art you get paid to over think shite and create symbolism where there is none.
You’re overthinking some artist that is being paid to overthink, but you’re not getting paid. Enjoy that one.

I’m not saying Detroit is a garden spot, but I feel safer in that downtown than I do NO. That speaks to how shitty the Crescent City has become.

Is that a large snake wrapping itself around what I’d imagine is a nude white woman? That’s just too easy.

As to why it sits at the base of the circle rather than the top of the 60-foot column— that was intentional. I’d rather it just stay put with maybe a wall or something. It’s “demise” in 2005 reshaped crime rates in every city between NOLA and Houston.

Did anyone read the article? I got the impression that the statue is just temporary and part of some other art exhibit going on.
