Its a losing battle at my house. I could blow leaves everyday from here until March and it wouldn't do a damn thing. I just blow the porches off once a week.

ETA. I bet rigging a whistle tip to the blower would be really easy.

Mulch the leaves with a mower. No need to blow or bag leaves. Going over them forward, then reverse, chops them up into dust.

Maybe you need better windows? High quality windows drown out most sound from outside

Thread lightly. This is probably how the neighborly beef with Big Lee started.
We all know how it ended.....

All of my neighbors and myself use different yard cutters. So at least 5-6 days a week I hear at some point lawn mowers, weed eaters, and blowers. Even though I work from home, I just deal with it. You'll be ok.
We had a similar scenario but one enterprising young man approached us and said "Give me all yall's business so I can show up once and cut all yall's yards, weed eat, edge, plus any extra work you want, everybody gets 40% off" and we all won. Going on year two of that arrangement. But he only takes cash, no cards. I tend not to carry cash so that's one thing I have to plan for.

He's already been facebook shamed on the HOA page. Now I think he's doing it just to piss people off. I know it makes me a commie, but I think gas powered leaf blowers should be outlawed unless you are a commercial operation that is going customer to customer all day long. Obviously gas powered makes more sense for that operation
Sounds like you live in a neighborhood full of Commies. The only true Patriot is the damn leaf blower guy.

As already stated, I like to open the windows on nice cool crisp Fall afternoons. Doesn't matter if it's a shitty window or a premium window at the point.

I will admit if you live in a neighborhood with a small yard you should buy battery powered yard equipment.
It’s honestly cost effective anyways and maintenance free. I have a battery push mower, weed eater with interchangeable tiller and edger attachments, and leaf blower. And it’s quiet so I can do yard work early in morning or late evening without anyone bitching and I avoid the extreme heat

Fa real! If they don’t get chopped up with the lawnmower when the yard boy is done, then oh well. I’ll be damned if I’m raking. I use the blower for the porch… that’s it.

Your neighbor needs some one to introduce him to the world of Ryobi battery powered tools.
During the fall, I use the Ryobi backpack battery powered blower to get the large amounts of Fall foliage moved. Takes two of the flat batteries and last about 30 minutes on full speed/turbo.
For small up keep around the pool, handheld blower with a single flat battery gets the jobs done. Best part is it is completely silent when you disengage the trigger for power so most of the walking during the job from one point to another is silence.

Go outside once a week at random times and fire 1 round into the ground. People will lose their minds chasing ghosts.

Nothing. But some folks like in neighborhoods with shitty HOAs that require them to be cleared off the lawn.

I'm with you baw! People that do loud yard work every day for hours clearly don't have anything important to do.

Do yall have anyone in your neighborhood that leaf blows his yard every single damn day, for an hour? By the time he gets done blowing, more leaves have fallen and he starts over. fricking psychopath.
My Dad doesn’t do it everyday, but he does it several times a week. It’s therapeutic for him, I believe.
Coincidentally, my Dad has an excellent looking yard. I wonder why?

I had a neighbor that popped fireworks until 2-3 am on NYE one year, the next day I went outside at 8am with my gas blower and ran the blower at full blast for about an hour blowing all the trash he left in the street and the rest of the neighbors yards and sidewalks back into his yard.
That was the last time he ever pop a firework and he's since moved

I use my blower nearly every day. Better to do that then let it build up for a period of time. Makes it easier
