I mainly use on driveway and porches.....few minutes.....in the yard maybe 30 minutes to pile up then rake.....raking takes way longer but I'm not a lazy arse...plus I burn the damn pile. Fire is actually healthy for the yard....
edit: I wait a while to deal with leaves.....maybe do it twice a year?

I blow leaves at least once per week, but I just counted and I have 18 trees on my lot, and also have a ton of concrete.

Yes, and at least once a month he gets on the roof to get the leaves from there.
It's absolutely insanity that some people like to enjoy their backyards and make sure it's clean.

OP, I can actually relate. The guy that most on my street use for their lawn service has the loudest leaf blower ever manufactured or he has modified it to be even louder. There were times when my daughter was an infant and couldn't sleep that I wanted to shove that leaf blower up his arse.

He's already been facebook shamed on the HOA page. Now I think he's doing it just to piss people off.
I know it makes me a commie, but I think gas powered leaf blowers should be outlawed unless you are a commercial operation that is going customer to customer all day long. Obviously gas powered makes more sense for that operation.
I don't mean to make light of your situation, but before I left the Westbank, I would have jumped for joy if I had a neighbor take that much pride. As it was, I had a neighbor about 2 blocks away that used an old toilet bowl for a planter, neighbors who incessantly blared their rap crap all the time (could be heard over a block away), neighbors who let their grass get a foot high, neighbor that paved the whole front lawn, neighbors that park on the sidewalks, neighbors that have blue roofs for more than a year after a storm, and neighbors that set up bball hoops in the street then don't want to get out of the way.

At my old house, when my child was an infant, the next door neighbor was also a psycho leaf blower guy. I actually did confront him one day, and realized he was "special" and lived with his elderly mother. Not to take care of her, but because she was still taking care of him. That guy was even worse than the guy in my current neighborhood, when it comes to leaf blowers. It was an actual legitimate mental illness.

Yep, two doors down every afternoon at 5 or so, sometimes 7 pm. Just his backyard, which is small but there is a tree in the backyard next to him that dumps a ton of leaves but does he really need to do it daily?
