biggest issue with this is are we testing every person who died for Corona? What's the false positive rate on these tests? When we have 10 deaths a day in Louisiana how many of those are false positive Corona tests.
probably all of them. It would seem likely that someone dying from covid would have been diagnosed long before death as they would have been in the hospital already. Covid isn't just sneaking up on people and taking them in their sleep.

and the fact that it is contractable multiple times?
Need to see some documentation on this "fact"

On one side, that person has to be approached with all the same precautions as the most symptomatic individual. On the other side, who is admitted for a broken leg?
Dak Prescott.
I get that the person has to be handled like a covid patient, but counting it as covid hospitalization (implying that they are in the hospital because of it) is disingenuous.

t cell immunity evidence.
This doesn't mean there won't be any issues with reinfection, but there is very encouraging news.

Not to mention the anecdotal evidence that it's around 10+ months, millions upon millions of people have gotten it once, and you can count on 1 hand how many people who have gotten it twice.
It doesn't take a doctor to draw conclusions from that.

Liken it to wisdom teeth growing back
There is still much to learn about this, but seeing as how they are linking other coronavirus t cells as being beneficial is really promising.
Brings back the discussion of S Korea not really being a huge case area because of their battle with SARS a few years back.

Again...the 94% thing includes all COVID deaths that had another cause listed on the death certificate. Cardiac arrest is one of them. So is respiratory failure. All things that can be directly caused by the virus.
Someone could have no previous medical history whatsoever and get COVID and ultimately die cause their heart or lungs stopped. COVID AND cardiac arrest are listed on the death certificate and they become part of the 94%
So how do you explain the 6%? How does one die strictly from COVID? Just lazy examiners chalking it up to COVID?

The LDH has been tweeting this regularly for months now.
I mention it in probably 50% of the daily covid threads. But I have no problem with you starting a thread on it because it’s ridiculous that we don’t have more accurate information

So if someone with a pre-existing condition of only asthma gets COVID. And they end up in the ICU and ultimately die....you don’t think that should count as a COVID death?

Covid related symptoms. Covid can cause pneumonia and such. Covid can't cause cancer or diabetes.

all that really matters is how many died this year vs the typical average of how many usually die in a year. That difference is your number of covid deaths, within a reasonable degree of error.
Not really. The average age of death in general is the same as the average age of death with covid. An increase in the number of deaths can be attributed solely to an increase in the number of people of that age ... boomers are getting up there, and there are simply more people in that age bracket, so more are going to die of all causes.
If anything, from a statistical perspective, the fact that the average age of death with covid is the same as the average age of death in general, points to covid having zero overall impact on deaths. If it was having an impact, the average age of death with covid would be younger.

Mounting clues suggest the coronavirus might trigger diabetes
Evidence from tissue studies and some people with COVID-19 shows that the virus damages insulin-producing cells.

The OP thought they found some great nugget of info that would crack the covid conspiracy wide open.

There are. It's not a complete hoax, but it's been over for awhile now.
I also think the lockdowns have increased other types of deaths like suicides.

So a Covid Death =/= a Covid Death?
