Gonna have to go sit on my patio. Have been outside.
Had mosquito authority come spray my home today. Gonna go see how much of a difference it makes

Have you ever had that done before?
Just curious how well it works under normal circumstances.

Didn’t work out tonight. Still a few here and there but not as bad as it has been.
I get a monthly spray. On a normal basis it works very well. I highly recommend them. They say they can get rid of all of them, but i don’t buy it. But they stand by their word, if after they spray at any point in the month and you’re still having problems, then they will come spray for free. My wife freaks out about them at night, but you can spray for mosquitoes every day, but you’re not going to eradicate mosquitoes in South Louisiana. Just not happening. I’ll take 3-4 over 300-400 though.

Haha yeah that’s how I feel about any mosquito system. If it can just reduce I’ll be happy with it.
Those thermocell systems work very well though.

Not sure if you’re comfortable sharing but I’d love to know which company that is.
In other news, where the hell did our cool front go? Woke up this morning and it was gone off my weather app.

A top 200 company and one that should absolutely know better and be better.

I walked outside this morning and it was pretty cool. Sat on my roofless, furnitureless (I have two chair left) patio and drank coffee and scrolled aimlessly through Facebook reading people bitching about everything.

Radiator hose busted on the tractor running our house last night. It never fails that shite breaks right at dark. Thankfully we had our backup gen ready to go but it can only run part of the house.

OK folks that are living in a tent or open house. I have a truck camper that will sleep up to 4 people full self contain with a wet full head. I can loan it out to anyone that is in need or just sell it cheap to you. I can bring it to your location and drop it off, but you would have to be there to help unloading and setting up. It takes a 8' bed truck for this camper. It is a older one, but I had rebuilt it and has a rubber roof and no leaks. And yes, it has ac.

Dude really? Just trying to help those that are in need. But yet, happy the OT comes into this thread for those in need.
Guess you don't know what a wet head is when it comes to a camper.

Any of you that have received an itemized claim from an adjuster yet?
Any that have a price per square from a roofing company in the area?
Any that have both?
I have heard various claims of some companies charging over $300 per sq. Out of all of the roofs I have had done this year the highest was in VA and it was $265 per sq which I thought was ridiculous but the bank took it.
I am just curious how far off insurance and field pricing is going to be and if someone can squeeze somewhere in the middle maybe by offering a cost-plus contract.

I’ll have mine in 5-7 days.

Unless I am missing something, which I don't think I am, I ran an estimate for a 40 sq 8/12 pitch roof, and the highest I can get is $265 per sq. I cheated a little and added a dumpster and debris removal which is usually a separate line item if adjusters even include it. That's using Xactimate just like the adjuster use but not taking off any depreciation.
I am about to run it in another system called Repairbase which is usually a little higher than Xactimate. I will post both when done but I would like to compare to an actual claim to see what sort of variances I may have left out.
ETA: Repairbase is much higher and I can get it well over $300 per sq.
