Any reports of house damage South of 210 in neighborhoods, mostly heavy roof damage? Most homes make it through ok considering? Nelson Rd to Lake st area?
There’s tons of homes south of 210 with structural damage. My neighbors home is completely ruined, missing 2/4 walls

Am I able to clean up all the surrounding area of a house or do i have to leave everything for insurance purposes.
Take plenty of pictures and videos of before damage. Its written in your insurance contract that you need to stop further damage from happening

Neighbor got to my brother's house on W. Prien Lake about 2 miles south of the casinos. Not bad actually. Few broken windows, garage door bent up, few missing shingles. Very shocked in a good way.

Ouachita Parish has the second highest number of Entergy customers out statewide. It’s a freaking 3rd world country up here.
Entergy's outage map is impressive. If you are West of Lafayette and South of Alexandria, you are likely out of power. If you are North of Alexandria and West of Monroe, you are likely out of power. I'd expect this similar pattern holds for all service providers. It essentially boils down to "if you're West of the Ouchita/Atchafalaya, you're probably out of power and if you're East of them, you're probably good.
That's a lot of people going through a lot of misery right now.

I’m working a Corps of Engineers job on a Prien Lake Island and have been staying at a hotel in Sulphur. What are my chances of getting there this afternoon or tomorrow? Hotel doesn’t answer but I know it’s not destroyed. I at least need to go get the stuff I left.
