Not that it matters all that much
but
they are predicting Laura to reach Cat 4 today but dropping back to a Cat 3 before landfall because of some shear above Texas.

Prayers to our South Louisiana folks. Laura is turning savage. Grab your pictures, papers and pets. Evacuate if requested, not worth your life!

So no wishcasting but how is this thing not going to be worse for Nola / BR? Looks like it’s heading straight for the center of LA.
The turn into Texas la border will move it that much?

Good luck guys. Got a bad feeling this is gonna hit hard. Load what you can and head east.

I feel really bad for Holly Beach and the other coastal communities. There’s nothing there over 15 years old. The fact that they’re (potentially) about to lose it all again is sickening.

No it isn't. The center is very far offshore.

300 miles southeast of Lake Chuck.

I’m about to go make an ice and fuel run. I got a few more things to try and move inside/secure before all this shite gets started this afternoon.

Recon found 961 millibars pressure. This damn thing is bombing out. 8 millibar drop from before. Not good at all.

Yep..7 MB drop in the last 45 minutes. How low will she go
Posted on 8/26/20 at 6:35 am to NorthEndZone
I’ve been messing around ITT, but good luck and be safe to all in the path of this thing

When winds respond to that drop she will be Cst 3. Probably by 10 am advisory or shortly after that.
