Down vote me, cuss me out,
Whatever. I am just saying the way I see things at the moment.
I think Laura will come in the Morgan City area Thursday Morning. They keep tracking this thing to the Tex / La border and I don’t think it makes it that far. It will slow down on the land fall projection might even be a Thursday even storm. It will get to a Cat 3, possibly a 4.

Here's what we know about #Laura:

* A strong hurricane w/ winds >100 mph, storm surge, & flash flooding is likely to strike between central TX & central LA coastlines on Wednesday

* Laura's potential peak strength has a high ceiling. While NHC forecasts Cat 2, prepare for Cat 4

I have far more faith in someone like Levi Cowan and this thread than local weather guys/girls

Cowan's latest tweet said Central Texas to Central Louisiana.

I haven't downvoted or upvoted you yet.

Can you explain your thinking here? Are you just going against the grain of the models and experts, or do you have some reason to think this?

Literally no models have it east of vermillion bay and you have no evidence of what you are saying
If anything they are all trending more west

If Cowan is that unsure, then the local media don't know what the frick is going to happen
