Tell me about it. :yak:
And our power is ALWAYS the last to be restored. How can they work one person at a time?? Don’t some jobs just require more people?? Ie putting up poles??

And Entergy will charge us a storm restoration fee for 20 years instead of 10.
We just got done paying for Katrina.

So now wait and see if we are seeing a east trend or if we have another small windshield wiper effect and a correction to the west in the morning.

It's tradition.

No they don’t, you seriously do not know what you are talking about.

Brother is a lineman for Cleco. He can’t help me but I’ll ask him out of sheer curiosity.

As "drastic" as the GFS shift is, it's still only 60 or so miles as the crow flies from landfall on the 18z model.

Yes I do I know someone that works with them. This is what was told. They're not restoring power for the storm tomorrow unless it's low winds which it probably will be. They also even called and said this that their Covid-19 procedure will slow restoration down as to not put their workers at risk.
The basics of it were if your power went out tomorrow with damage like trees on your line they're not even bothering unless it was a significant amount of customers without power until at least Thursday minimum.

I know you know this... but that shift would mean the world to someone

Yeah, but stating “1 person” is not true.

You’re not kidding. Lake Charles hasn’t left the discussion all day long. Landfall and “bullseye” has changed from Beaumont to Vermillion Bay 5 times, but guess who’s in the middle.

Some crews not all of them. Depends on what their task is. That's what I was told at least. IDK sounded like Entergy was being pretty strict on the procedure to keep their workers safe.

00z CMC has west shift from prior run, similar to GFS landfall, but weaker system. Right now the euro is the outlier, let’s see what it’s next run shift is.

My brother’s in Moss Bluff. He reports to work at the hospital Tuesday — he was crazy messed up after Rita for a while. Writing ssn on arms of employees when they reported for duty was a slap of “oh shite” as Katrina had just happened.
