None of the 12Z model runs show hurricane force winds getting anywhere near inland areas. The highest appears to be about 40 to 50 knots. Gusts are of course a bit higher.
My official NWS point forecast says max of 54 gusting to 69 and I'm only 25 miles inland NW of Grand Isle.
I'm starting to doubt that I will be getting anything above 45 mph sustained and 55 mph gusts.

Are you talking about Laura? Don't trust these models. They're all struggling with it. Until it clears Cuba you're not going to get a firm idea on where it goes or the intensity.
