Do any of yall have a laundry service that washes and folds your clothes? Not talking about fancy baws that have their super sharp stuff dry cleaned, but just everyday laundry.

Do you drop it off? Is there service that picks it up and drops it off? What is the turnaround? How do they charge? Per load, per what? What do you pay?

I looked into it once but they charge something like $8/lb. So for a normal load of laundry you’re probably looking at $50 at least. Screw that.

$8 a pound is not going to work. That's absurd. Is that in a big city? Is that including pickup and delivery?

I’ve used wash and fold services when out of state for work for extended periods.

$15 for a full laundry bag washed and folded with about a 3hr turnaround usually.

That's doable. Thanks for the input.

I have used a laundry place before, where you would drop off laundry baskets or whatever and pick it up a few hours later folded. I'd drop off once a week or so and can't remember spending....idk...had to be less than 20. And this included towels, blankets, everything. They folded it perfectly too, with all fabrics smooth between edges/folds, not that half wrinkly fold. Doubt if there's anything like that around here though. That was 10 years ago in council bluffs, Iowa.

I've been out of town for a month. I just drop it off with this Mexican lady at the local washateria, she charges by weight, then washes, dries, and folds. It is all done within a day. Definitely worth it since the hotel dryer sucks (I wore wet jeans for four days the first time I washed myself).

IIRC, it's $0.90/lb. That's normal, but there is a place that charges $0.65/lb further away. With a week's worth of jeans, some work jeans, collared shirts, etc, it's like $13 or $14
