Thoughts? Experiences? Which is best? Why are the rates in Baton Rouge so much cheaper?

They still have bibles in the night stands. You just have to wipe the cum off the knobs to open the drawer.

LC Golden Nugget is the best in Louisiana hands down. We will see what Caesar’s looks like when the renovation done.

Baton Rouge is the worst of the 3, mostly due to proximity to Texas. It's more like a BR metro casino.

The Oklahoma casinos have taken a toll on the Shreveport casinos. They have siphoned off almost all of the DFW crowd .

Lake Charles is the only decent casino market left in Louisiana.

Eventually Texas will legalize gambling and shut most of them down. That's pretty much the only reason the majority of them exist.

The Adelson family from Vegas recently bought a controlling interest in the Dallas Mavericks from Mark Cuban.

They already have plans for a resort, casino, and new arena as soon as Texas legalizes gambling.

I used to think that sports gambling could save the Louisiana industry, but betting apps have made in-person sports books irrelevant.

I'm not so sure because GN added a new tower in the last few years. That tells me that Tilman Fertitta believes we're not getting casinos in Texas for a long time.

Pinnacle and TF aren’t going to cut their noses off by allowing gaming in tx.
Lauberge in BR will never be more than higher rent bell of badden rudge.

We love the L’Auberge in Lake Chuck. Golden Nugget is nice too! Haven’t been to BR one in 10 years or so

Lake Charles casinos would be a ghost town without the Texas crowd but I don’t see Texas legalizing it anytime soon.

Really just depends on who’s willing to offer more to the legislature.

I think Lauberge BR isn't near as bad as people on here are making it out to be. Their blackjack rules at all levels are the most friendly to players. Shreveport is ate up with the 6:5 payouts, and LC and Nola make you double your bets to play more than 1 hand.

The new Edge bar is way better than the last one for watching bands. The sportsbook is surprisingly well done for being in Baton Rouge. And if 18 Steak wasn't in the casino it would be a much more talked about steak house. Seriously go try wagyu steaks, the tasso mac, the pork belly... it's a good restaurant. Not Ruth's, but it's good.

They need to open another cashier and send the drink girls around faster. But from someone who came up having the Belle/Argosy and Casino Rouge... I'm happy with Lauberge BR

Last time I went to LB Baton Rouge I felt like I was at one of the downtown riverboats.

LB Lake Charles has made a few upgrades.

Draftkings at the LC Nugget is a first class sportsbook

I visited the nugget in Biloxi last week and it was awesome as well. Couple that with damn nice hotel rooms for $79 per night, and I would highly recommend it.
