She has already said the mandates are in place till post mardi gras. I am in disagreement with her every move as much as the next guy but this article and the post claiming its more than it is, is part of the problem. People want to be mad even when there is nothing there to make them mad so they just find a way to interpret words to mean what they want.

Who gives a shite if this moron already said they will keep mandates past mardi gras already? She should be ridiculed mercilessly every day for such a ridiculous decision.

Where is the data from krewe of boo?

Not sure what the data is but it was a good opportunity - I was in N.O. that night and it was packed - shoulder to shoulder and maybe 5% of the folks out there were wearing masks

What mandates are currently in place?

With a goal of keeping the city open, there are no new mandates or restrictions right now. Enforcement of the current vaccine mandate will be amped up. “We know that it’s working and we’re going to continue to have those mandates in place because of that,” said Mayor Cantrell. “Especially now, with this new variant, now is not the time to take our seatbelts off.”

Funny how things are “working” just as well in JP with none of the restrictions.

It's like you've never lived through "2 weeks to slow the spread" and JBE's weekly smack talk followed by monthly mandate and mask extensions.

Let me guess, "oh she'll never do it again" is your mindset? I will wager money she will do it again. And if not a couple months before the midterm elections, then sooner.

Proof of vaccination or negative test to eat indoors or watch a sports team play.

Ridicule all you want just please keep the BS OP subjects to yourself. To the many of us that own tourism based businesses idiotic post like like this cost us money. All it takes is some a-hole to say hey I saw Latoya is locking NOLA down again based on a 100% fabricated headline.

I have as much hatred for that count as the next guy but two wrongs don't make a right.

I hate Latoya but the "Laytoya/JBE is coming with the lockdown" threads every time they say anything about covid is tiring.

Teedy is to blame for covid restrictions, OP is to blame for creating a completely fake thread to troll.

What's the problem. Y'all re-elected her. She was obviously doing a great job.

Y'all had your chance to run someone else. What happened?

I no longer care what happens to that city.

You re-elect trash like that then you get everything that's coming to you.
