If Charbonnet were the mayor… businesses would still be required to check for vaccines. Except, every business would get a visit from a member of her staff to discuss that in exchange for a $2,500 processing payment… city officials would never show up to enforce said requirement at that business.

I don't know anything about her, but that sounds about right for politics around here. I didn't know anything about her, but she came off as a major bitch in the debate.

I feel bad for Ray Nagin. He was honestly a really successful somewhat pro-business governor until Katrina broke him. His “chocolate city” comment was atypical for him.
