Russia isn't alone though.

In this, yes they most certainly are.

Yes. China gains nothing by supporting Russia. They gain everything by simply staying out of it.

India's ability to fight the west via this proxy?

If you think India wants to fight the US, you're even more ignorant of global politics than I thought you were based on your previous posts.

India isn’t going to produce shite to help the Russian war machine as they have moved more to the west especially as their conflict with China grows

China isn’t going to bite the hand that feeds it. The GDP of Russia and its consumer base is not worth turning your back on America and the EU in the name of communism

Especially for the historical fact Russia and China don’t see eye to eye on how a communist government should be ran.

Yes. China looks out for China. It has no exterior loyalties that would cause it to act against China’s strategic interest.

Russia has almost nothing to offer China right now. The US still has a huge market for Chinese made stuff.

Better yet, maybe our new Russian friends here can explain why China would turn from the west and America to focus on Russia. What strategy there is good for China?

Be careful. That could be perceived as "hostile."

Well that is not true. China gets around 16% of its oil imports from Russia. That is certainly something and I would imagine that the longer it goes the better discounts they could get correct?

Certainly so. China will buy oil from Russia, especially as the price continues to be discounted. But that is taking advantage of Russia’s weakness, no?

Of course. It is also playing both sides. Though to the point Russia certainly has access to keep this party going was the point.

Russia continuing to have means to trade via the worlds largest partners is certainly something they can use to have this prolonged encounter. Which was counter to what people are saying.

That is just a fallacy. I said they both supported Russia and they do with with continued trade deals. Trade deals that will keep Russia afloat.

I don't think India is standing behind Russia. They continue to do business with them and refuse to take the western stand at this time. India is a very large democracy. If they start moving in the totalitarian direction then you may be right.

Exactly

China will only make a deal like that to benefit China

They will use Russia like a $2 whore if they so choose

At the end of the day it’s not worth backing Russia with tech and raw materials when it’s GDP is less than Texas

We just enjoy watching Russia being about its own decline. For the near term it’s too late to reverse course. Russia is driving itself down for no apparent reason and with no apparent way to succeed. You must be very proud.

Why would I be proud of either Ukraine or Russia? Neither have any affect on my life. Like none.
