This goes beyond Biden and encompasses the entire political establishment, Republican and Democrat. None of you keyboard warmongers in this cesspool of a thread gave two shits about Russian aggression when Russia invaded Georgia over South Ossetia. Nobody gave a shite when the Russians massacred Chechens by the thousands over a 20 year period. But when the MSM and people like Victoria Nuland tell you to be outraged, you get outraged. And the reason they're outraged is because of the money made in Ukraine by well connected people in Washington DC. When a rural republic in the South Caucasus faces the same invasion, nobody gives a frick.

Don't you remember the British Civil War of 1812 in which British subjects fought against their king including right here in Louisiana?

And?

If Russia invaded Moldova, there wouldn't be a thread on this page and nobody save for an intelligent few would even know what was going on. This entire thread exists because the American mainstream media is more adept at manufacturing a narrative than any other entity on Earth. Russia has been doing this for 20 years. Barack Obama laughed at Mitt Romney a decade ago for saying Russia was the greatest geopolitical threat to this country. Now the people who laughed at him then are the biggest Russophobes on Earth. There is zero intellectual consistency.

Ah, the "everyone else except me is wrong" approach. Got it.

I prefer us to mind our business and not give billions in aid to anyone when we're $30 trillion in debt.

Did you post a Georgian flag on your Facebook profile back in 2008? If not, were you a Putin sympathizer?

Have you noticed the wee bit of difference in rhetoric from Putin from 2007 until today? His fricking with Western elections - even funding Marine Le Pen and the rest of the foreign stooge politicians you get hard over.

Don't tell me you don't enjoy that.

The guy whose foreign policy you wholly endorse said this about the guy you claim is the worst human being on the planet. In fact, I would guess most of the people in this thread voted for him twice. It's the same thing with Saddam. He was our ally and then we needed to topple him. Putin was a good guy, and now he's public enemy #1. We need a boogeyman to deflect from the domestic problems we currently have. This is no different than Arab countries blaming every world problem on Israel.
quote:

"I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straightforward and trustworthy. We had a very good dialogue. I was able to get a sense of his soul; a man deeply committed to his country and the best interests of his country."

Putin is an old KGB agent who knew how to play him by appealing to his Christianity.

I don't endorse GWB's foreign policy, though. I'm not sure where you get that. George Herbert Walker Bush, on the other hand - he was good enough to get the Soviet Union to support our intervention in Kuwait - now that's solid.

Lolbertarians are funny cause they’re all for non-intervention while forgetting that if Russia had the chance to take over the whole world (including us) they’d happily do it.

Also, the irony of a libertarian wanting to enable a dictator. I really want to see Putin fall just to witness the absolute melt of people like you.

Wait wait, let me guess, that makes me a Soros plant, doesn’t it?
