One thing I've been thinking about is how likely the volunteer forces and "rogue" militias are to abide by or agree to a cease fire even if Kyiv agrees.

Im guessing anti-russian sentiment within Ukraine will only be stronger after this.

Hugely doubtful that they would. There’s visceral hate right now that won’t go away with a ceasefire

Agrarian Ministry: Ukrainian farmers to sow 70-80% of farmlands.

According to Ukraine’s Agrarian Ministry, nearly 40% of the area will be used for domestic consumption, the rest can be exported.

Visceral hate indeed, for those who were never taught history or who only got a slight blip of it in school, this historical information regarding the treatement of Ukranians by the Russians may explain a few things. Holodomor...

whatever pro russian sentiments that existed in the eastern parts of the country are assuredly gone. Ukraine is very firmly in the western world now

Going home for the first time since the war began. Driving into Irpin, through the highway where I’ve been a million times. Everything destroyed. Stores, civilian homes, hospitals, everything. Russians brought nothing but sheer suffering here. And they will pay for it

What was telling this morning there was an 8 mile convoy headed east, east I said on a main route and got lit up at night.

Just imagine if the Ukrainians had Apaches.

My proposal is to turn NATO loose for 48 hours* then a nice cease fire.

*over the target time not transit time

What a shock to see China and Russia stirring things up in the Balkans. What has ever gone wrong when that happens

I think it’s all in the same area but I can’t be certain. I think the thing to note is the precision of the strikes

I've misplaced the tweet, but it reported the first known instance of drone vs drone aerial combat.

This may be very dumb to even ask, but why can't our drones sneak over from Poland with our teams at the controls? Would anyone be able to substantiate it (even if there was debris and accidents)? Seems like Ukr could clean up messes if need be on the ground

Guarantee some budget minded members of Congress will be asking pointed questions about why we need combat helicopters when drones do so well.

Either laser guided munitions or they are getting close enough to the vehicles to lase them and pinpoint their location. Since the Russians dont believe in an infantry screen that would be a good guess.
