Blinken and Nuland are both of Ukrainian Jewish descent. I feel this is worthy of note given their outsized roles in the entire ordeal.
Blinken gave the Taliban a kill list which I’m sure resulted in the deaths of hundreds if not thousands of people and their families. He’s either a traitor or too dumb to live. Either way, after being tried by a jury of his peers, firing squad for that act alone.

Its just hard for me to judge a president on a hypothetical situation he never had to deal with
Does this same exact thing happen under Trump if the same exact set of things happen? Maybe. But it didnt happen, and I just cant judge someone off something like that
What happened is what happened and I think its fair to judge our leadership on how they handle things that do actually happen. And our leadership failed spectacularly here and now theres nothing to do but sanction Russia and I doubt that does anything but stiffen Putins resolve

We wouldn’t be in this situation if Trump were President because for better or worse, Trump was a fricking madman and unpredictable. He wouldn’t have dared done this under Trump.

I have a question and I am not trying to get the same BS responses I always get, I am being serious. Did Putin expect the Ukraine to fight back or was he preparing for them to lay down their guns?

Failed at what though? At failing to convince NATO countries to not accept Ukraine? Do we really think this would stop Putin and this war? Pretty hypocritical assumption too wouldn’t you say?

The intel community was so aggressive about saying "its coming, it's coming" and jerking themselves off over it the last week that I figured it was bluster. It's strange that they broadcast the threat and we ended up in this spot. I wonder if they thought they could bluff Putin down or something.

Is it rumored to be the same pilot that shot down 6 others?
Pretty much confirmed.

I honestly dont know. For a change, our intelligence seems to have knocked this whole thing out of the park. They were way out infront of this

Another angle of the jet being shot down: Twitter
God between their manly men and their beautiful women, Ukraine is putting on quite a show before the world. Keep it up you glorious mother frickers. Shove a soldering iron up Vladimir Putin’s arse!

Possibly, but also to expose any claims of provocation as blatant falsehoods by Putin. It also gave the west time to plan. The sanctions came down the same day, with no dithering.
