Pure blood checking in. The entire ordeal of covid authoritarianism is a significant lurch forward towards overall authoritarianism in our own country.
Now, how do you reconcile that with Russia’s own vaccination campaign and the Chinese handling of covid?

Because he wants an authoritarian government, just one that will enforce the social order he wants.

Dude. He’s obviously Nosler28, LSU fan from Savannah. It’s right there in his profile which was registered almost an entire half of a month ago.
Not sure why you would question him. 9 of his 59 posts aren’t even directly related to Russia or Ukraine.
Gosh, some of you people are so paranoid.

If “we” win, NATO will continue expansion, and we will attempt to overthrow the governments in Belarus (again) and in Moscow.
If successful, we would breakup Russia, like we did Serbia, to prevent Russia from posing a threat in the future.
This is a stupid and undesirable policy. It risks war with Russia, and nuclear conflict. And a shattered Russia would be a disaster. It would mean more war, and many more dead.
A Russian victory would stop this process, and stabilize the situation in Europe.

Bullets are cheaper than handcuffs

Man you showed up with a logical, unbiased observation. It is clear that you are worse than Putin and know nothing of war or the fricked US policies.

I saw one photo of a Ukrainian soldier, holding the severed head of prisoner. The dead mans hands were zipped tied.
It appeared they cut off his head while he was still alive.

Watching the video I immediately thought zip ties are cheaper than bullets.

The link below is a long but informative read - details regarding the sanctions. Some politics and opinion but mostly factual it seems to me. I don't usually read the New Yorker but stumbled on this article. It's behind a paywall but they allow a certain number of free articles.
The Biden Official Who Pierced Putin’s “Sanction-Proof” Economy
In the run-up to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Daleep Singh, a national-security adviser, searched for areas where “our strengths intersect with Russian vulnerability.”

Neoliberalism needs a huge setback and Russia taking Kyiv and becoming tighter with China ans India is the best way to achieve that.
Further, a failure by Biden and the West will harm the Democrats here in 2022 and 2024
fricking oof.

We’ve gone from seeing Russian soldiers being offered phone calls home to retributive videos like this. It’s amazing what invading a sovereign country and shelling civilians will get you. I really thought there was a lesson in Afghanistan pt1 and pt2 in there for Russia guess I was wrong.

If we were to succeed in breaking up Russia like Serbia, one would assume (hopefully) that denuclearization would take place from that position of power.

Disagree here as it would lead to continued heightened tensions as Europe finally increases its own militarization in response to an emboldened threat of Russia. Higher tensions + higher militarization = higher chance of conflict

Short vid of reportedly captured Russians - Twitter
Couldn’t help but notice the boots thanks to whoever posted the info about the Russians still wearing old school leather boots. Clearly their captors were wearing boots similar to our own. Kudos to the poster who knew about the boots.
