There was some talk going around yesterday of a Polish-Czech-Slovenian intervention outside of NATO.
That would certainly be interesting because theoretically it drags all of NATO in as well since Russia won’t just be attacked and do nothing.
Doesn't the process of invoking article V require the ambassadors to NATO of the NATO countries to meet and decide if the action that triggered an article V request actually mets the criteria for article V? If that is the case, I could very easily see NATO denying an article V request from Poland, the Czech republic, and/or Slovakia if they intervene without NATO's approval and Russia responds against them.

Not certain, but let’s assume the above. I’m not convinced the right people don’t want WWIII to begin with so this would be the prime excuse for it. Biden has made very clear we would defend every inch of NATO territory. Retaliation from Russia inside the borders of any of these nations would test that redline.

After an additional 45 minutes of swiping, two tinder sloots in Minsk have confirmed that they were awakened from sleep by loud noises, but they have no idea what they were. It is still dark out so they cannot see anything. One said she believed that she has heard gunfire but the other one says she has not heard any gun fire. Both said that no air raid sirens went off.

Nothing encourages a dictator more than a democrat POTUS drawing a redline.

Agree which furthers the point. I stopped short of the joke I had about Obama’s Syrian redline because frankly this admin to a certain degree has put its money where it’s mouth is on the current situation. The sanctions are much stronger and unified than I figured they would be. Whether that’s Biden or the apparatus itself is another story.

It’s a matter of time. I’ve seen this song and dance before they’re just trying to justify it at this point

Not only that, the Biden Administration is set to waive the sanctions to allow a Russian energy company to cash in on a 10 billion dollar contract to build a nuclear plant in Iran.
I eagerly await the mental gymnastics of the folks on this board to reconcile this

I miss being single and swiping right while drunk and seeing the whales that matched with me the next morning that I thought was hot the night before

Been out of this thread awhile anything interesting the past 24 hours?
My short American attention span led me to be bored and no longer care. I’m waiting for the tv to tell me what to be outraged about next to pique my interest

Peak OT would be having this thread be the nation’s most accurate war play by play thread using primarily Tinder as intel.

The US really doesn’t have control over what Russia does with Iran. Iran is already sanctioned to the gills so they (like North Korea) don’t really give a Shiite anymore, and Russia is set to join that same club.
Yes Shiite was a pun, as it’s both a Muslim ethnic group and a way to say sh*t without swearing.

If you know how to talk to eastern european women you can use it to get their viber, whatsapp, or telegram number and have your own on scene reporters.

Pretty much the same as usual. Some posters bringing in news from various sources. Some wondering what is true and what isn't. The usual few posters trying to passive-aggressively turn the thread into a domestic politics thread and a couple of posters challenging everything negative said about Russia/Putin and anything positive said about Ukraine.

Except Russia has support from most of the non western countries, despite what our lying media says. Western countries are going to get hit hard because of this too
