That's right. I've seen them.
2nd question then. Why don't they have tank recovery units with very platoon. It wouldn't be THAT hard to get it back upright.
They're having trouble keeping these tanks fueled. I'd imagine a recovery vehicle is pretty far down the priority list.

Apparently there arent any type of recovery units which is embarrassing for any kind of mechanized unit. Everything points to them believing this was a 48-72 hour operation.

I’m starting to think Ukrainians may have attacked these Fox News reporters.
Why would you think that? Having the press there is a huge benefit to them.

Because if it was the Russians it would be wall to wall coverage about war crimes against reporters.

No shite lol
You remember the Manda Bay, Kenya attack back in Jan 2020? I was looking on Task & Purpose this morning and saw a new article about it. I started a thread on the poliboard so as not to derail this one. You may find it interesting.

The only reason I asked is that I'm seeing the narrative being run that Ukraine did it on purpose to pin it on the Russians. Without any proof of course.

I haven’t seen that. I think it was either a mistake or Ukrainian soldiers just being assholes without approval from higher command.

Lukashenko says Belarus forces will not join the war:
“I want to emphasize once again that we are not going to get involved in this operation that Russia is conducting in Ukraine. The most important thing, as I tell those of you in the military, is that there is no need for that"

I think the US has a tank recovery platoon per battalion.
I think that's right. Of course we aren't in the habit on inverting our armor on a regular basis.

The Pentagon is looking to send counter-drone technologies to Ukraine -- the US Army can easily start sending some of its’s 1,000-plus Dronebusters, which have already deployed with US troops to Iraq, Syria (1/2)

Wonder what that's about... Y'all see the stories on the Islander missiles having some kind of radar jamming stuff on them? Just kind of wonder if that might be related as a countermeasure to the missile issue.

I’d never heard of the Dronebuster so I just googled. It’s basically a radar gun that looks like something a cop would use. You can shoot it at small drones like the kind you’d by at Walmart and jam it’s communications.

I've been wondering about that. If they're looking to take pretty much the whole country, and they're having supply issues now, how in the hell are they gonna keep them moving when the forces coming from the south and southeast are spread hundreds of miles long?

Don't worry, it'll change tomorrow and Belarus will be back in. The Belarusian Hokey Pokey is what they do.

I would expect the Russian propaganda machine to put this out. Nevertheless, it is Russian troops that have invaded Ukraine and it is Russian artillery raining down on population centers in Ukraine. Without Russian aggression there is no war. The Ukrainians don't need any slight of hand to make their case is victims of Russian aggression.

Any news on the Fox News reporter injured? I can’t seem to find anything.
They are still not saying. Maybe a reporter will find out, or call in.
A Fox cameraman just bought the farm.

The crazy part is that they have a three point front of attack/supply and they still can't seem to keep up with the forward elements.
I don't know why NATO is freaking out. It's clear they don't possess the logistical capabilities to be a real threat. Might as well just let them push as deep as they want then frick with their supply lines and starve them out.

Z and V letters on military vehicles is explained in document from St Petersburg government that urges their public display:
Z - Z? ?????? (For victory)
V - ???? V ?????? (power In truth) and Z????? ????? V???????? (Task will be Completed)
No word why they used Latin letters…

Eh, anything they can do to tug at the heart strings of the west, they'll do. They need NATO involvement as much as possible so any and all options are on the table.
