I've been wondering about that. If they're looking to take pretty much the whole country, and they're having supply issues now, how in the hell are they gonna keep them moving when the forces coming from the south and southeast are spread hundreds of miles long?
This is exactly how Germany lost the eastern front in WWII.
They over extended their supply lines and couldn't keep the guys at the front supplied.

Russian drone ‘entered Polish airspace’
Larisa Brown, Defence Editor | David Charter Washington
Tuesday March 15 2022, 12.30am, The Times
A Russian drone flew over Poland before entering Ukrainian air space where it was shot down, Ukraine’s military claimed last night.
In a statement the Ukrainian air force command said that the drone flew into Nato airspace, accusing Moscow of a “provocation”.
The drone first circled over the site in Yavoriv, western Ukraine, which was hit by a salvo of cruise missiles on Sunday, in an apparent attempt to assess the result, it said.
It then delved into Poland before returning to Ukrainian air space, where it was shot down by Ukraine’s air defences.

I’m case you haven’t noticed China/India/Russia/Pakistan/South Korea/Venezuela/Saudi Arabia/Greece/Turkey/Italy/egypt have made a pact to take down the US and EU
I'm going to need an explanation of why you think all these countries are going to act together.
The story of why India and Pakistan are going to put aside their differences in order to create a world where China and Russia are the two remaining superpowers will be quite an interesting read.

So are they winning or getting crushed?
Maybe you will take a stab at answering
90% of this thread lives in the world where war and geopolitics are murky, complex and not very fostering of black/white answers
So instead, we discuss what appears to be reality:
-Russia is still Russia;
-Ukraine still Ukraine;
-Russia appears to have made considerable blunders to date and Ukraine has capitalized on some of those;
-Ukraine's long term outlook is not good in the sense of being able to keep control of major cities/the country at large
-Russia's long term outlook is likewise bleak in the sense of being able to retain territory without considerable and ongoing losses

The problem with enforcing this is Trudeau is a master of disguise:

Canada needs to follow Russia's example here.

The explanations are from official Russian government documents so, you know, take it with the usual caveats.

Like Trudeau would go to Russia anyway. This is the same guy that said he had covid because he needed an excuse to hide from a bunch of truckers waving flags and bbq-ing in the street

Don’t underestimate Trudeau’s stupidity, especially if he wants to live up to Daddy:
Keep in mind this was the same moron who is so fricking stupid that he invited a terrorist to dinner with the Indian Prime Minister that attempted to assassinate a previous Indian Ambassador to Canada. It’d be like inviting someone who attempted to assassinate the Ambassador to the UN to a White House Dinner. Global News.
It got so bad the Indian Prime Minister ordered Trudeau to leave his country prematurely. It was a real life version when Borat invited a prostitute to dinner to an Evangelical Minister’s home.

In the grand scheme of things if you are the aggressor with 200k troops mobilized and 2 weeks in you are having to ask China for help you are getting your arse kicked.
Yea it’s not a good look when you don’t decisively win the sneak attack.
Sneak attacks should look a lot more like Pearl Harbor or 1939 Poland than this. Pretty historical gaffe for Putin to flub his sucker punch of Ukraine. This whole situation is life imitating art. Unfortunately its imitating russian art so throughout the story nothing is gained, everything gets worse and I can’t keep track of the characters because all the names are nearly identical.

This carries about as much gravity as me putting out a press release banning them from my living room.

Who knew, interject yourself into a long standing regional dispute and shite goes sideways for you.
