re: Latest Updates: Russia-Ukraine Conflict

We're seeing protests in Russian occupied cities in Ukraine. They seem to be growing every day. I'm wondering how long it is until one of those young Russian soldiers fires into a crowd. It almost seems inevitable at this point.

Has it been discussed that Russia has offered to actually honor a humanitarian corridor only if that corridor was to Russia or Belarus? They've violated every other corridor "agreement" so far. Now, they are saying they will honor one if the Ukrainians agree to evacuate their citizens to the countries they are at war with.

Makes perfect sense!

Pulling it back to this topic, I like it when politicians give us a glimpse of what our intelligence community has shared. He hasn't said anything that would reveal sources and methods but has given us a 10,000' view while inferring enough to get us down to 1,000'. I'm sure it's a calculated free PR tactic but that doesn't diminish the validity of what he's passing along.

Russia is shocking the world right now and losing this war in spectacular fashion. Putin isn’t going to survive his next assassination attempt.

India’s military is now saying that the Ukraine military is now advancing on the Russians.

Putin is done if this lasts into April. Somebody on Twitter said the military will be screwed if this lasts until June. It's very easy to stretch from April to June when you have a military already having issues and then facing the thawed ground with tanks and other heavy equipment literally getting stuck in the mud. Add in all of these weapons from around the world fortifying Ukrainian defenses, sanctions trickling down to the ordinary citizen, and the rest of the world adapting to life without Russia...there's just no way he doesn't face a coup either by the military or by his oligarch backers. He's desperate and is bombing civilians now just hoping to draw NATO in. Validation for stopping Ukraine from joining NATO is his only way of at this point.
