Yeah, that's the thing that I think that people don't understand right now: Ukraine has money.

The $50 billion from frozen Russian assets means that they don't need the transit fees from Russian gas.

And Ukraine will be able to pay teachers, nurses, other government employees, etc. for all of 2025 and into 2026.

I do not believe that President Trump will try to force Ukraine into a bad deal, but at this point, Ukraine won't take a bad deal because of "money."

Jihadists have fought for Ukraine, and Ukraine trained some of the Syrians Jihadists, in conjunction with, I guess, CIA.

Unless you're an Israeli, or on their pay, like most of Washington, Iran just doesn't matter. They're irrelevant to our existence. Sunni terrorism is a problem, see ISIS, but the Shiia are not an issue for us.

Now wait a minute, didn't Russian missiles take out Ukraine's electric power generation ability? Looks like it didn't

China imposes sanctions against 28 US companies

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce added 28 US companies to its export control list on Thursday, banning the sale of dual-use goods to them.

The ministry stated that the restrictions, effective from January 2, were designed to safeguard national security and interests.

The companies affected by this decision include major defence contractors such as General Dynamics, Boeing Defense, Space & Security, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon Missiles & Defense. Starting immediately, the export of dual-use items—products that can be used for both civilian and military purposes—to these firms will be prohibited.
