The Memorandum ship sailed in 2014 when Obama did nothing. Thus, a dead issue ever since.

Somewhere between $8-12m, possibly more, for 8 missiles

Why would we do that when there's a 90% chance that this war will be over by Jan 20th?
Because if you're a dementia-ridden, pneumoencephalic potatobrain, in the oval office or elsewhere, you might not understand those odds ... or appreciate them. Of course, one with those deficits might well perceive M.A.D. as description of demeanor, rather than doctrine of military strategy.

We've flipped flopped on multiple similar agreements going from Obama, to Trump, to Biden, and now will again when we go back to Trump.

Again, I disagree.. there is no agreement (IMO..) that is "similar" to giving up Nuclear weapons ...

and List the ones we have reneged on...

Then we should declare war on Russia, go in, and clean house ... right? We have weapons to vaporize the Kremlin at the push of a button ... right?

The Iran deal?

Others have laid out examples. Climate deals, trade deals, etc etc.

It doesn't matter if you disagree or not, its just a fact that we back out of, and then sometimes later rejoin, deals as leadership changes.

Other countries know they are making a deal with whoever the leader is at the time, and if there is a political shift in the US that might be nixed in 4 years or less.

Obama did offer a feeble response. Trump a slightly stronger one. In 22 Biden responded to Russia’s major escalation and violations of numerous agreements and treaties.

Old missiles, likely past their expiration dates, that our military would no longer use.

Declaring war on Russia and using nukes to attack is not the moral thing to do. Using conventional weapons and US oops isn’t our best course either. Aiding Ukraine’s defense is as far as we need to go.

Think they'll give Trump the Nobel Peace Prize when he ends this war on day 1060?

And then ends the wars in Gaza and Lebanon by the end of year (5) 1 ?

I guess he has a legitimate shot at winning the Nobel three different times?

Certainly one would be in order? Obama got it for giving a speech about nuclear disarmanent

I think part of the disconnect/distrust there is that people who are less supportive of Ukraine don't believe the narrative coming from the 'ruling class'.

I love how you guys somehow separate two billionaires (one of whom is the richest person on the planet) from "the ruling class!"

Its more or less the same ruling class that had us in Afghanistan and Iraq, and who were taught by those before them in the ruling class that got us into Vietnam.

I'm the Leftist here, apparently, but this is "college freshman Leftist rant" simplification.

Well most people with half a functioning brain can figure it out. What’s your excuse?

Well, explain it to me please so I can understand it...

"Just two wings of the same bird," as the Libertarians say... and does the "ruling class" get toppled? or harmed? ever?

In two years working class people will be pissed at Trump again, same as they'll be pissed two years into the next administration, and the next one after that... the same people will be on top, even wealthier by magnitudes.
