No. I just thought that was a weird take. From what i've seen. Lee's takes are spot on most of the time. That was just out of left field.

I would vote for RFK, Jr., Jill Stein, whoever the Libertarian candidate is this time, or Cornell West over Trump.
Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Donald Trump (2016-2020)... all Presidents who really had extremely little to do with the day-to-day operations of the Presidency and running the country... they had staffs that took care of everything, and in Trump's case - as all of their memoirs point out - they spent their time talking him out of things or delaying and obstructing them when he wanted to do something particularly stupid.
If Biden is truly mentally gone (he did better this afternoon at a rally... the debate was probably past his bedtime) then the same general thing is going on... and I crack up to see Republicans say "we demand to know who is actually running the government!" When people criticized Reagan and W they claimed it was just the way executives do things...
But with "Project 2025" Trump would really be able to go around bureaucratic safeguards and frick shite up even more than usual... tariffs would shoot inflation through the roof, and the way he talks about them he has no idea how they even work... he thinks foreign countries would have to pay a "fee" to sell stuff here, not that it adding a tax onto things American companies have to pay in order to get imported goods.
I'm in the minority here, but he's a trucking idiot. Worse then Dementia Joe with full-blown dementia. Trump is unfit on every level to be POTUS.
