Cuban citizens are illegally involved in the war against Ukraine, the Cuban Foreign Ministry reports.

The Cuban Office is working to "neutralize" a human trafficking network that has recruited Cubans living in russia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba called those involved "enemies" and stressed that Cuba does not participate in the war in Ukraine.

Boyets’s unit [Skala battalion, Ukrainian] has already been reduced by casualties to 25% of its original strength since joining counteroffensive operations around the axis towards Robotyne in July, and the life expectancy of storm units is the shortest on the front’

Meanwhile, in the 15 weeks it took the 47th Brigade to advance eight miles to capture Robotyne, medics attached to the brigade say that the unit’s casualties have run into four figures.”

in some instances teams of medics with the 47th had their own numerical strength reduced to 50% because of casualties suffered on missions to collect wounded on the Robotyne front, despite …M-113 armoured personnel carriers to evacuate the wounded”

On the second line of defense of the russians in the Zaporizhzhia region, there may be whole "labyrinths".

This was stated by the spokesman of the Defense Forces of the Tavria region, Colonel Oleksandr Shtupun.

"The only thing that can play into our hands is that the trenches, trenches and ceilings are not so strong," he added.

Germany handed Ukraine ammunition for Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled guns, newly produced on the restored production line, — Ministry of Defense of Germany.

The department noted that the construction of a production line for the manufacture of ammunition was successfully completed earlier within the ambitious timeframe, which allowed the first delivery of a five-digit number of shells to Ukraine.

finally

quote:

#Russia has quarreled with #Armenia.

"Moscow does not agree with #Pashinyan's words about the failure of the Russian peacekeeping mission and Russia's withdrawal from Nagorno-Karabakh. Russia will remain a part of this region and it cannot withdraw from there. Russia continues to play the role of a security guarantor," #Peskov said. He also added a sarcastic remark that more Armenians live in Russia than in Armenia itself.

Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan said it was a strategic mistake to rely on Russia for security:

"We see that Russia is distancing itself from the region with steps taken or not taken on its part. We don't know for what reasons. There are, of course, assumptions. But there are processes that lead to the realization that one day we may wake up and see that Russia is no longer here".

Says the guy that actually whined the other day that our presidents were too mean to the Soviet Union. Separately, Are you ready to admit that Ukraine has captured Robotyne yet?

Yes, the sprawling city of Robotyne has fallen, it only took 3 months and ten brigades to achieve this historic feat. Even after all of that, Ukraine is still taking losses daily in Robotyne.

Nothing made up. It costs real money to dispose of OLD RETIRED weapons. Let's take the humvee which would be shipped to a decommissioning shop. Heck, it cost millions of dollars to dispose of the propellant that was stored near Shreveport a decade or so ago, then the contractor defaulted and it cost millions of dollars more.

Head of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine Erik Mose stated on September 4 that the commission has not yet concluded that Russia is committing genocide in Ukraine. Mose stated that the commission must determine the intent of the perpetrators and identify the “need” to physically or biologically exterminate a certain group to meet the legal qualifications under the Genocide Convention

For frick's sake, they'll spend ten years polishing this conundrum. To paraphrase Shaw, 'Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't teach, teach teachers. Those who can't teach teachers, get jobs at the UN.'

"Belgian army leadership believes that F-16 planes are in poor condition and cannot be sent to Ukraine, Lieutenant Frédéric Goetynck told De Standaard on Monday."

Belgium spent 1.18% of its GDP in 2022 on defence, ahead only of Luxembourg in NATO.

These planes have fewer flight hours than the F-16s that the Dutch are donating. Makes one wonder why Belgium can't maintain its planes.

If anything like their Iraq weapons of mass destruction inspection team which was composed of "engineers" who could barely tell the difference between a pump and a valve while training at an equipment dealer's yard in Hainesport, NJ, 10 years is way short of what is likely.

It's not clear this is accurate nor is it clear they have actually breached the 1st main line of defense.

Troop movements suggest Robotyne is under heavy fire still and the 1st main line of defense in this area is still intact.

If it was breached, AFU would be sending in reserves to this area.

Instead, it is being reported movements are now around Ugledar again.

Havent seen any GEO location confirmations of actual armor PAST the main defense line. Just troops.

Its an interesting battle to follow.

I measured Bakhmut on Google Earth Pro. It's 4 miles from edge to edge. Bigger than these villages, but not much more than a propaganda goal. These villages due to location and elevation have a lot more military value than Bakhmut.

These exchanges are silly.
They may be fostered intentionally.
Step back for a minute:
How can anybody possibly think this misadventure in Ukraine has been anything other than a huge setback for Russia geopolitically, militarily and economically.
This day to day back and forth is just part of the quagmire of Putin’s own making.
It’s delightful.

Well, nary a crewmember of the Challenger hit was injured. The ammo did not participate in a Russia turret toss competition.
