This thread is 99% political and 1% about the war.

Please enlighten us on the Wagner name. What I've read is that it was the call sign of Dmitry Utkin who started Wagner. Supposedly he picked the name because it was Hitler's favorite composer.

ETA: If you have different information please share it along with the source, I'm open to hearing you out.

Dimitry Utkin

That is not correct. Its mainly about the war, sometimes, our best posters go crazy and let themselves get sucked into political crap, but its mainly about the war. Wish they weren't suckered so easily.

So you agree Wagner's name derives from Nazism and their founder was/is a neo-Nazi?

The Western border was disputed from the Calcasieu River to the Neches River. Lake Chuck is on the east side of the Calcasieu River. Finally the border was settled as the Sabine River. That is why there were so many outlaws in places like Sulphur, Orange and Vidor. Oh and lots of redbones too. Likely still quite a few in Starks even the feud between two families is no longer a revenge killing every few years that I know of

Not true. Ukrainians either have or want to leave the Mongol mindset, Russia never has and doesn't want to. The population of Russia is headed to majority Asian and Allahu Akbar due the Slavic Russians have made it the abortion capital of the world.

Think it was 1988 (8th grade) for LA History. Thought it was just west of achafalyia river to just east of Mississippi and then followed the red river for west border.

So just to find alignment, are we cool in this thread with sacrificing American lives in Ukraine when it inevitably escalates to that?

LA History late 60's in Lake Charles taught me differently. The issue was disputed border with Spain, not the LA Purchase.

BTW, the last lynching of blacks folk was on Hackberry Island on the west side of Hackberry in the Middle of WWII. Some black dudes had come to town to look for jobs in the West Hackberry Oilfield with Amoco. LA History books told me that in 1968, maybe scrubbed by elite during the next 20 years

Mongol

Random side note about this whole conflict. Mongolia is actually getting screwed. When all of the European airlines stopped using Russian airspace for their Asian routes, they stopped flying over Mongolia. This has actually cause Mongolia to go through a budget crunch because their mailbox money vanished overnight. Just thought I'd share a random 2nd order effect that most people aren't aware of

You Politards are dense. The history of Russia dictates the Russian mindset along with Putin's 2007 speech that NATO member countries will be attacked, most likely after a lull of several years, should Russia win in Ukraine.

Because everyone, including you, knows that it will not end up involving American boots on the ground in Ukraine.

You simply think that you have a good trolling opportunity with the question.

Your kind of trolling attempt has already been done about 50 times already in this thread.
