I have a question. Ukraine and Russia use the exact same types of equipment. How do we know that every burnt and blow up vehicle we see on Twitter is Russian?

Russian vehicles are marked with white painted letters like Z and V. There is a list of their markings and designations somewhere in this thread. So to answer your question, yes we know who is who in the pics and vids because the markings are very visible

Assuming everyone was not able to bail which is very likely whether hatches were open or closed there will be air trapped inside. Call the ARV up from the back of the column and even though it would probably require a snatch block setup you could probably save their lives if you didn't dick around and you had the right equipment and a good crew on the ARV.
