I have to disagree. I may have felt differently if it were Wagner trash on the receiving end, but it's reportedly a lot of mobilized. It doesn't feel right to me using expressions of a holiday that promotes peace and love to sarcastically promote the deaths of men, many of whom were forced away from their families against their will.

Not confirmed yet but apparently the dead are all conscripts from Moscow and Moscow adjacent.

Muscovite deaths are potentially more useful for Ukraine. Those hit home more than the death of conscripts from Ural, Siberia, and the Far East. Far more likely to add pressure to the Kremlin.
Is Putin wearing body armor here? If he is it would be quite telling since at least part of the group he is taking the propaganda photo with are his group of actors. I highlighted what seems to be his favorite female model. She has been in multiple propaganda photos, she is in the military now and just a couple of weeks ago she was playing a bereaved mother who lost her son in the special military operation.

Agree to disagree.

So Russian still hasn’t learned to quit storing munitions next to where their forces sleep

Or a back brace. That's one of his many rumored ailments.

Oh hello there! I was wondering when another Russian bot would show up. So you say Russia is in the process of winning a war against the strongest military in Europe correct? So does that mean you’re admitting that Ukraine’s military is superior to your own Ivan? It sure as shite looks like it. Does the word HIMARS make you down a liter of vodka when you hear it? As far as a real war Russia vs the United States you do realize our Air Force alone would destroy your entire military in short order right? But I’m sure the Su-57, all 6 that y’all have been able to produce, would destroy us right? I love Russians, y’all are so very stupid it’s comical. Hey what happened to capturing Kyiv in 72 hours?

Fast forward two years. How is this going to end? And if Vlad takes Ukraine where will we be?
Even if Putin manages to take all of Ukraine, which I think has a very, very small chance of happening, he has effectively wrecked his country beyond repair in the process. Between the hundreds of thousands of men killed and injured, the hundreds of thousands that have left the country forever, and the complete destruction of the Russian military and economy, they are in a horrible spot for at least the next decade.
Best case for Putin, in my opinion, is Ukraine lets him keep the eastern oblasts. If Ukraine gains any momentum in the near future from their incoming weapon transfers, I doubt they take anything but a full Russian withdrawal.

Some pictures showing Putin's propaganda actors, the blonde is errwhere.

I just love that they housed their new conscripts with their ammunition.

Russians just eat up that propaganda. They probably can't see the similarity of this women in all those photos. All you have to do to get Russian's eating out of your hand it to invoke the western boogeyman and they will fight to the death. And fact is, nobody wanted to invade their country.

There are days I think some in the military are trying to lose the war to corrode Putin's power.

He just got mobilized and sent to Bakhmut. Poor schmuck.

I'm astounded by the lack of discipline shown by the whole Russian military. I can understand from the fresh conscripts, but the professionals are inept.

They don't need to be good. They just have to have numbers and then they have the nukes. A bigger version of North Korea.

I think they pack those conscripts so densely because they're scared smaller groups will abandon the cause. Communications issues may be another reason. None of that explains having them sleep on ammo stores.
