Well, poor Russians are in fact pouring into Mongolia because of Ukraine’s success.

Do you know where Russia has had any success on the battlefield in the last 4 months? Please share. Or are you the typical shite poster that just white knights for Russia without ever offering any proof of what you are saying.

You have the ability to change the shite posting cycle, can YOU do it?

No it hasn't. For long periods, there was a stalemate in which the Ukrainians used Western weapon systems to great effect targeting the logistical apparatus of the Russians, while users who had contacts in Ukraine explained that the Ukrainians were planning a major counteroffensive. And they were right.

The Ukrainians are definitely going for it. Would love to be in the room as they discuss military strategy.

Not to mention it highlights the hypocrisy of Putin who likes to pretend that homosexuality is a Western design. His men are practicing in the field.

As they should. I believe there will be a long lull when winter hits, so now is the time to go for it.

Hope the Ukrainians going down the reservoir brought pontoon bridges with them. The Russians must be blowing the bridges as they retreat.

Or is this “A Bridge Too Far, Ukrainian Edition”?

British Defence Intelligence
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 4 October 2022
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE

On 30 September 2022 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order for the routine autumn conscription cycle, which aims to train 120,000 conscripts. These conscripts are legally not permitted to be deployed outside of Russia. This is separate from those individuals being mobilised as part of the 21 September 2022 partial mobilisation order.

The conscription cycle will begin on 01 November 2022, a month later than usual. The late start to the cycle is an indication of growing pressures on Russia's ability to train and equip a large number of new conscripted personnel.

The challenges of accommodating, training, equipping and deploying mobilised and conscripted personnel are significant. Deficiencies within the Russian administrative and logistical systems will continue to undermine these efforts.

The UAF has been trying to take Davydiv Brid for awhile and the Russians had put up very strong resistance there since the Kherson push started. It sure looks like we could see a wholesale collapse of the Russian lines.

What do you think?

Every other time Ukraine has needed to cross rivers and streams they have shown the ability to do so, unlike the Russians.

In the northern part of the Russian-held Kherson area, yes. As Ukraine pushed south past Dudchany, Russian forces to the north were at risk of getting cut off, so there's a general retreat going on, and Russia is abandoning a huge area.

Of course, though, it seems unlikely that they will be able to form new lines to the south that will hold.

Russia has a demographic crisis because so many young males have been dying the past decade and alcoholism/abuse is a big reason why.

Article from 2009

quote:

Alexander Nemtsov, a department chief at the Moscow Research Institute of Psychiatry, estimated Russia's annual consumption at 15 litres of pure alcohol per capita, including children and elderly people. This compares to just 6 litres in 1864, he said.

He estimated Russia had some 2.5 million registered alcoholics and about the same number of unregistered ones.

"Drunkards, not alcoholics, are the main threat to demography," Nemtsov told Reuters. "Heavy drinkers make up 40 percent of Russian males, but this figure may be bigger." The proportion of male and female drinkers is 4 to 1, he said.

RAND Analysis

quote:

Perhaps the only genuine crisis aspect of current Russian demographic trends appears in increased rates of mortality, which have been especially dramatic among working-age men. In 1992, there was a sharp increase in deaths from nonnatural causes. By 1994, mortality rates for males between ages 15 and 64 were about twice as high as they had been in 1986 (Figure 4). Rising alcoholism and related conditions have figured prominently in this trend.

quote:

Growing alcohol consumption is not the only explanation of increased mortality. Deaths from violence, injuries, and other nonnatural causes have contributed heavily to the latest rise. Russia's rates of homicide and suicide are among the highest in the world. In addition, deaths from illness and chronic and degenerative diseases, such as cancer, respiratory failure, and circulatory and cardiovascular diseases, have increased sharply. It is interesting to note that environmental problems, generally given a large share of blame for Russia's health woes, are in fact not among the main culprits. Environmental problems cannot explain the increases in accidents, homicides, and suicides or the much greater increases in mortality for working-age males compared with other population subgroups.

Russian males have devolved into alcoholic nihilists in large numbers.
