What is going to happen is that Russia is going to send wave after wave of poorly equipped, poorly trained conscripts to the front ad infinitum until either Russia runs out of people, the USA runs out of money, or Russia implodes completely as a nation. All options absolutely terrible for humanity.

Please tell me why your are such team Russia when they are the clear invader and aggressor.

Trent Telenko on Twitter has been talking about something called the Lanchester Square collapse for a while. It's a set of differential equations that predicts when an army's capabilities degrade to a point that it suddenly and completely disintegrates.

You have been saying the opposite for a few days now and all about how great Russian military is smashing Ukr Did the scales fall from your eyes?

So what does he think about it?

Not really the rus obviously have been on the ropes in Donbas but the frontline in Kherson was holding up even as of this morning USA time. This is a huge change in circumstances on the ground. This Kherson maneuver is a big deal because they’re going to flank russias frontline there.

It's more complicated than I can TL;DR. You can look him up on Twitter if you're interested

I think he logged into the wrong account and is now trying to thread a needle.

Those are not all the potential outcomes. If Russia rids itself of (Putin)’s war, this meat grinder stops.

If Putin really has the tactical nuke option on the table, trying to stop the Kherson breakthrough would be the time to do it. He's about to lose everything he's gained since February, and after that Crimea and the rest of Donbas are clearly in Ukraine s sights.

In your opinion when Russian conscripted ground forces are inevitably slaughtered in the Donbas, will Putin use tactical nukes?
Posted on 10/2/22 at 1:59 pm to BrianKellyRespecter
I’m seeing that pre war video clip of Putin grinning arrogantly about how F’ed Ukraine is about to be in my mind a lot these days. The most public hubris by a world leader in wartime in my lifetime maybe?

Absolutely impossible. Will never happen unless Russia itself totally collapses. I mean Ukraine could also unconditionally surrender but that would also never happen.

Strange post to reply to to ask me that question
I don't believe so, no. I think Putin is a narcissist, and believing that he is capable of micromanaging everything makes him look like an idiot, but I don't believe he's actually an idiot. Nor do I believe he's insane. I think he's just been drinking his own koolaid for a bit too long. I think he understands that using any nuclear weapon, regardless of size or impact, would mean crossing the Rubicon as far as the rest of the world is concerned, and even he's not enough of a narcissist to believe he can survive that.

Comparing the image from the 28th to today, you can see the chunk of land Ukraine reclaimed in a short amount of time.

That was literally all in like the past eight hours. There’s nobody there. They’re literally just rolling. Edit - nevermind im talking about Kherson not kreminna.

I'm not so sure. Russian doctrine does call for the use of tactical nukes. At least on paper, they believe in using them. Putin knows he can't survive without winning this thing. That puts everything on the table.
