Australia, Poland, and Finland have banned the broadcast of RT there. Why in the hell hasn't that been done here yet? Watching their bullshite about Ukraine being evil. This bullshite should be taken off immediately. Russia is blaming Ukraine for the bombing of the apartment building. Also claiming Ukraine bombed a kindergarten in Donbass "but nobody was harmed."

Reading the bottom of the screen really gives the impression that Ukraine is just the start.
"Kremlin: Ukraine declined proposal for talks, Russian operation continues."
"Ukraine says it is not satisfied with Russia's conditions for talks"
"Krelin: Putin ordered half to operation, but renewed it after Ukraine's refusal"
"President Putin urges Ukrainian soldiers to take power in Kiev."
"Portion to Ukraine's army: don't allow population to be used as human shields."
"Putin: NATO 'Crossed Red Line' with eastwards expansion."

AND frick MYPILLOW. They are advertising on here. (FWIW I'm MAGA.)

They were showing that the first night of the war from nearly the same location and the Russians still haven't broken through. They're putting a lot of steel in the air but I wonder if they're hitting anything. An analyst at one of their own think tanks pointed out that they're severely lacking in targeting capability.

[BBC News] Azerbaijan to provide free fuel to Ukrainian medics

quote:

Azerbaijan's state oil company, SOCAR, has confirmed to the BBC that it will provide Ukraine's firefighting and ambulance services with free petrol for the duration of the conflict.

The move follows a phone call between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Azeri President Ilham Aliyev.

Aliyev also pledged to provide Ukraine with deliveries of medicines and medical equipment.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has put the Azeri leader in a difficult position. He is wary of Russia and signed an agreement of alliance with President Vladimir Putin on the day when latter recognised separatist regions of Ukraine last week.

But he also has close ties with the EU and Turkey, both of which have condemned Russia's invasion.

Aliyev faced internally criticism for his agreement with Putin and for not openly expressing his support to Ukraine.

Prior to the invasion, Aliyev also signed an agreement with the EU to increase gas supplies to the bloc.

Do you think the Russians right now are communists?

Millions of Russians walking around right now probably have zero idea about what communism truly was, the same can also be said Americans. Between social media and the natural blood lust in a generation that didn’t grow up in a world when true communism actually existed is showing its face when it comes to certain people all over the internet.

[The Guardian]

The international activist and hacktivist collective, Anonymous, has said Russian state TV channels have been hacked and are broadcasting “the reality of what is happening in Ukraine”.

The group earlier said they launched a cyberattack against Russia in order to support Ukraine.

[BBC News] Kremlin website down for several hours

quote:

Six Russian government websites are currently down, according to the Kyiv Independent.

That list reportedly includes the official sites of the Kremlin and Russia's media regulatory agency.

The outlet attributed its reporting to sources at Ukraine's state telecommunications agency.

State TV channels have also been “hacked to play Ukrainian songs", it says.

The Anonymous hacking collective has taken credit for the attacks, but this has not been independently confirmed.

Assuming their structure is similar to our military as deep as they are into Ukraine there are going to be a good number of field grade officers like Majors and some Lt Colonels on the ground.

That is one hot take. Both expressing fear of government/kleptocrat controlled media AND embracing it at same time.

[Christo Grozev, Exec Director @ Bellingcat - Twitter]

There's lot of chatter and purported leaks on silovik telegram channels that the General Staff has instructed that Kyiv be taken by Monday, and has overridden the objection of the Airborne forces who think this can only be done at a huge cost of lives.

quote:

As a rule I wouldn't trust any of these channels but the info tracks with other info from Kremlin insiders, and it makes sense given what we know of Putin's plans, needs and obsessions. And in this context the surge we see/expect makes sense.

This tracks with the ongoing ramp up in the attack on Kyiv. Looks like we are at the start of a legitimate push to take Kyiv almost "at all costs". Curious decision by Putin if true.

If you're MAGA you shouldn't be pushing censorship.

RT being available simply gives another point of view. You want to deny that to people.
