#Russia ???? has just fired Lt. General Berdnikov, its commander of the western military district. He’s been in post for 15 days.
I hope that general has his life insurance paid up.

No idea how they found them either. I had to look for at least 10 minutes at that picture to find them. Masters of disguise those Russians!

Is that the general that told Putin to go to hell?

I highly doubt there are any Abrams tanks in Ukraine.
Without any accompanying sustainment package they would only have symbolic value.
Pulling pack on a turbine based M1Ax is a lot different than working on a diesel T-XX.

Rumors of Russia troops at Kherson wanting to surrender. 100% sounds like a disinformation campaign. However could be an indication of something about to happen, maybe?

That's a really good point regarding the logistics trail for an M1.

Could be false flag. Russia may know they bout to be slaughtered so they gonna accuse Ukes of war crimes. They need to make the citizens of mother Russia mad at Ukes not mad at the Kremlin/Putin

So in more layman terms, an M1 isn’t an effective tool on the battlefield without a logistics/maintenance group in the relative vicinity?

That is a terrible comeback.
Whatever clears your conscience of blowing up kids, dude.

60 tons of metal traveling 40 mph for miles over rough terrain requires a lot of maintenance.
What makes the M1 great (IMO) is our ability to project BCTs with tanks and brads and sustain them with fuel, rounds, and parts.

Yea that makes a lot of sense, thanks for that.
Also 60 tons moving at 40mph has to be terrifying/incredible to see on the battlefield

Tanks need a lot of maintaining for every hour of use so it wouldn’t make sense for Abrams to be in Ukraine without the support crews who know how to work on them and they are an entirely different animal than Soviet t-72s and such.

it will be interesting to see if the Ukrainians keep the pressure up in the northeast by moving east beyond the River.

Isn't this the guy that some thought Ukraine had captured a few days back?

'Total collapse': Putin cancels meeting with generals after army's biggest defeat since the war began
Having changed command twice since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Vladimir Putin no longer wants to see his generals.
The president postponed meetings in Sochi with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense after the army in the Kharkiv region suffered the largest defeat since the beginning of the war.
For a week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to win back 3 thousand square kilometers, said on Sunday the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny. After breaking through the front, the Russian army in a matter of days left the territory, which with thousands of victims captured for about three months.
Following Balakleya, Kupyansk and Izyum were left, where the occupation administration of the Kharkiv region and the headquarters of the group advancing on the Donbas from the North were located. The Russian Defense Ministry on Saturday called what is happening "distracting activities" and a planned withdrawal of troops.
But that hardly suits President Vladimir Putin. He postponed meetings with the leadership of the defense Ministry and representatives of the defense industry - these meetings "shift to the right" in the schedule of the head of state, said his press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
"As the special military operation develops, certain experience is gained that needs to be discussed," he said, adding that meetings are necessary. Peskov did not name the new term (quoted by RIA Novosti).

Air Raid Sirens going off in ALL OF UKRAINE as Russia Launches Massive Bombardment!
It appears Russia has taken the gloves off and is now going after their critical infrastructure like power plants as blackouts are being reported all over the nation.

Looks like no more SMO. It may now be WAR.
Pray for the people...
