The SU25 is a tough airframe. Look at this video posted by Wagner Channel on Telegram showing 2 SU25's executing a missile strike and then fleeing the area with what appears to be at least 2 MANPADS shots at them.

Video on the topic of "safe" pitch-up shooting. Nothing is safe in war. In war, as in war.
Khokhols, as I have said many times, do not aim to protect their troops from the effects of our air strikes, they hit aircraft.
On waste, from ambushes, by special DRGs sharpened to destroy aircraft.
And sometimes they do well

In the video, everything ended well for our attack aircraft.

As a side note, I find that for viewing Telegram on your PC, the best app to use is Unigram which allows for translations (you have to turn it on in settings) The Telegram desktop app doesn't allow translations, only their phone app does.

There are plenty of sources and videos.

The info is there if you're not lazy.

Kind of an indictment of you?

She was rooting for Marshall yesterday?

Personally, I don't trust most of the major news sources on many topics. That's why I spend the time researching the things I'm interested in to find out what actually going on. Then I can compare that to what the MSM is reporting to get a pretty good view of what they are manipulating.

That is why you see a preponderance of open source information in this thread because the MSM isn't reporting in any detail about the war. What the MSM does report is typically several days behind what's happening on the ground.

Again, we are talking about something specific here, this conflict. Applying a inductive heuristic wildly here isn't useful. What specifically do you contend?

I’ll continue to fly my Russian flag high whilst laughing at all my virtue signaling lemming neighbors that scoff at me with their uninformed fake concern or care about this conflict

For this to be true, Ukraine would have to have crossed the Dnipro River somewhere to the northeast of Kherson.

You mean like the crossing the intact bridges across the Dnieper in Zaporizhzhia or Dnipro?

quote:

I say this because we've seen no evidence of Ukraine in Kherson.

1. It is early rumors. Yesterday it took about 4 hours after the rumors appeared for evidence to come out that
supported those rumors.

2. The rumors are starting to gain traction on the twatter. Also the Ukrainian General staff just announced it.

quote:

In the Kherson region, the occupiers retreated from their positions in some settlements, - General Staff

LINK

quote:

Apparently there are reports that Snihurivka is being evacuated by Russian Forces in Mykolaiv Oblast

I have 3 contacts in that village and will contact them tomorrow to confirm if true ????

If the reports are true then Russian Forces would lose a lot of land North of Kherson City
LINK

3. Ukraine does not have to be in Kherson city. If it is true that the Russians have abandoned Snihurivka then it is likely that northwesternpart of the Kherson front has collapsed. That clears the way to Nova Kokhava where Russia had built three pontoon bridges across the Dnieper until the HIMARs found them. The HIMARs might have destroyed the pontoon bridges but they can't destroy the roads leading to the approaches and the approaches for the pontoon bridges. If Ukraine can race to Nova Kokhava (which they might already be doing and we just not know it) and build its own pontoon bridges before the Russians can counter then they could be crossing the Dnieper later tonight or tomorrow at the latest, or moving north to use the already intact crossing they control further north.

Nah.. just really skeptical of the mainstream narrative.

I have not linked anything from the mainstream media except for in response to other posters asking for MSM reporting to confirm what the internet is saying.

Announcing your support for Russia after they have been driven back to international border, lost 6 months worth of gains in less than a week, and when there are rumors of mutinies in the Russian army is just poor timing on your part.

Well Ukraine did launch a special forces raid on Belgorod Friday night.

I think we're talking about 2 different things here.

Your post said this
quote:

RUSSIAN KHERSON DEFENSE LINES HAVE COLLAPSED, UKRAINIAN HEAVY ARMOR BREAK-THRU HEADING SOUTH TOWARDS CRIMEA UNOPPOSED. ROAD TO MARIUPOL APPEARS CLEARED & UNDEFENDED

That means that the Ukrainians crossed the Dnipro river in the south somewhere NE of Kherson...not up to the NE by Zaporizhzhia.

I threw this together
I'm talking Area 1...To my knowledge, they haven't crossed the Dnipro River in the south.

This is a glimpse into this posters view of reality. “You can’t believe anything the media says, only myself can be the source of truth”.

They somehow view themselves as the gatekeepers of facts but at the same time say you can’t trust any source. It’s a constant contradiction that never gets addressed because it would wreck their reality.

He won’t come back with anything factual, he will just post some vague rhetoric on how you can’t believe anything you read. Rinse and repeat, over and over.

It has to be tough just like our A-10s have to be tough. They are made to take and withstand small arms gunfire and still make it home and some like this one still make it home with a hit from a heavier weapon like a MANPAD. I saw one take a hit to the left wing and engine at very low altitude. The pilot just about lost the aircraft as you could see it shudder but at the last second he was able to pull up and out with the aircraft rolling smoke from the hit to the left engine. Even though it looked like it would make it back to base I would bet they wrote it off and cannibalized it for parts.
