Maybe include Sweden and Finland as vassal states.

Exactly. The people who believe everything on CNN concerning Ukraine and Russia are just stupid. People by now should have learned to not trust the media (they said Hillary would win Texas, among many other lies).

I understand that people will be killed. Ukraine is not an American Ally. We should not be defending them. It is not our fight. That doesn't mean I support Putin or his policies.

Hunter Biden and his laptop with illegal images did all kinds of business deals with Ukraine. It is basically a huge money laundering country. The US Government sends money to Ukraine and other countries as "aid". The family members of US government officials set up companies to receive some of that "aid". Money laundered. Biden has been doing it for years, using his pig son Hunter.

You're going to be called a Russia shill for this post. If you question any of their constructs, if you point out the puppet strings, if you notice the collective distribution of specifically repeated patterns, you are a labeled a Russian bot or shill.

You also criticized the golden boy, Biden. Can't do that.

You have the entire corporate media establishment, intelligence agencies, political left, big tech, social media, and the same social media users who for 2 years made their social media profile pictures a selfie of them wearing a mask, now changing their profile pictures to a selfie of them with a flag of Ukraine in it - heavily pushing a pro-Ukraine narratiave

When an actor does something so terrible/unthinkable as invading a sovereign nation for no rational reason, there will be support against that aggression. Why is it shocking to you that people would react to Putin's acts?

You have the whole gang of foreign policy disaster politicians and public figures like George Soros, Hilary Clinton, the Obamas, the Bidens, Adam Kinzinger, Mitt Romney, Bill Kristol, neocons, and more - heavily pushing a pro-Ukraine narrative

It's a popular narrative because Ukraine was attacked for no reason. This does not happen often and may not have happened (depending on how you want to define interstate war actions) for decades.

"No reason"

bullshite. Ukraine was a dirty player in the corrupt global geopolitical stage. They decided to allow utter blatant corruption and money laundering to occur within their borders.

That shite right there is going to get the Russians to take the gloves off and go full scorched earth. Like I said earlier, this was a soft invasion to minimize civilian and infrastructure losses.

Most everyone in this thread has been fairly skeptical of most reports and acknowledged there is propaganda coming out from both sides.

I know. These people don't want to use the Internet to research. All they want is to read the NYT, CNN, FoxNews, MSNBC, and every other liar out there. They don't want to think for themselves critically.

Just because the news is right some of the time, doesn't mean they are right all of the time. This maxim is true of any story, including ones involving wars in foreign countries.

So is Russia. So is the UK. So is Germany. That's not a reason for war, even if true.

Like basically every country on Earth?

I just refuse to go along with the same media sources and politicians who gave us the Trump-Russia hoax for 3 years, who pushed the Steele Dossier as a real document, who twisted Trump's phone call with Zelensky into an impeachment fiasco, who activated the same combination of blue-check herd mentality and liberal arrogance about controlling events that drove us into COVID lockdowns.

How gullible are people to be fooled so many times and not learn to hesitate here?

I'd love to see your "internet sources."

Like I have posted numerous times on the poli board, the whole "globalist" meme has a strong chance of originating via Russian propaganda.

I'm sure your "sources" are heavy into that belief system.

And that doesn't mean the MSM is the bastion of truth and non-partisan objectivity.

I guess I have to spell it out for you.

The REAL reason we are seeing a massively coordinated and amplified pro-Ukraine message from the media, big tech and political establishment is because they desperately want to protect their corrupt money laundry playground known as Ukraine at all costs.

There.

Sometimes there is an act/story that is so abhorrent that there isn't really a logical way to support the other side.

9/11 is the perfect example of this. Plenty of enemies (or those close to it) around the globe condemned the attacks on the US.

Russia invading Ukraine for no reason is on that level of abhorrent behavior. This is disrupting to the international peace that's effectively existed since WWII. There aren't many other examples of this sort of invasion and most wars are proxy/civil wars of some kind.

Don't bother arguing with a guy who drives an Audi TT and hides in it for hours until a mean senorita goes inside. A bigger wimp there never was.
